For many years, the vegetation along the outside queue has needed maintenance. There are several locations where there is bare chicken wire instead of vegetation.

It’s a shame that Disneyworld’s best land has fallen into such disrepair under Chapek’s watch. Will he EVER learn that if Disney doesn’t stay “magical”, and instead falls into disrepair, the guests will eventually stop coming? Why would we pay such exorbitantly high prices for mediocrity?

When will they stop coming? I have been here for the last 2 weeks and I have never seen so many people.

I have been increasingly disappointed in the direction that Disney has started going. They are no longer making films that are aimed toward keeping the magic alive for kids. Just because our current society seems to be having a difficult time letting kids be carefree and unconcerned about current issues in our nation doesn’t mean that that Disney had to jump on the train too. I am disappointed with the increasing LBTGQA innuendo that has been in the recently released movies. I am extremely disappointed that Disney is planning to air a cartoon show that is about the Antichrist. I do not feel comfortable letting my granddaughter watching any of the new movies or cartoons.

Thank you. I totally agree with you!!

The show on Hulu FXX rated TV-MA?! It’s an adult show. This isn’t some “Disney studio” production pandered to children. Let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good pearl clutching.

I cried when I went on the avatar ride. It was so life-like and felt like a world away from our world. My granddaughter is at St Jude fighting for her life with bone cancer of neck. This ride would make her feel wonderful, in a world, flying on Banshee. Away from this world! I bought 3 banshee and many other Disney things from each park for St Jude Children and my own. Thank you Disney! You give suffering children hope!

The problem is they will never get back to prepandemic levels of skilled maintenance staff.

Flight has a lot of very complicated systems that require specialist trades working in unison to troubleshoot and repair.

What did they think was going to happen when they furloughed all the older guys? Did they think they were going to stay home waiting for a call back? Anyone with any skill in Hydraulics, motion control, and automation had jobs the next day with shorter hours and more pay.

As a contractor that gets called in to build and install these rides I always love seeing the looks on the faces of these guys working way harder than me when they find out how much Disney pays guys like me compared to what they make.

It will take a decade to replace the tradesmen they lost. In the meantime expect the disrepair to continue.

We experienced blurry screens on Flight of Passage. Quite a shame since we waited in linr for over an hour to ride it. We and others did tell the cast member but not sure what they could have done.

The whole ride was blurry for me. Actually, so were the animals on the safari. And the Yeti, too! Maybe I was just overserved.

We Went on flight of passage in July and it was amazing!

    1. We went to Magic Kingdom and there’s a tremendous void of character actors. They only had 2 parades and we only saw Cinderella throughout a 12 hour visit. Disneys main focus is on keeping the evening halloween party attendees happy. So on those days they have people paying for first half the day and then people paying for the evening hours. Quite a money maker but us disney goers miss out big time.

Walt is rolling over in his grave because of the dis-repair and the lost of magic. (No disrespect to walt, he was an awesome person!)

Honestly, to say he would be rolling in his grave over the disrepair is the only time I agree. I’ve heard that Disneyland in Tokyo is much better maintained than any other Disney resort, which is interesting when you consider that WDPR (Walt Disney Parks and Resorts) has zero ownership in Tokyo — the entire property is instead licensed out to a third-party.

My family and I are at WDW this week. At AK Monday, during the day,. My wife had committed that the Navi River ride didn’t seem as bright, and I noticed that flight didn’t seem as sharp as previously was. We’ve been coming at least once a year since pre-pandemic. It’s the first We’ve noticed.

We got back from DisneyWorld florida a few week ago and we won’t be back.

On this issue I was also very disappointed 5 years ago Animal Kingdom was my favourite park the flight of passage ride was amazing!

This year I went on the ride once it was a huge disappointment we never went back to this park and we were in Florida for 11 nights!

They don’t have enough maintenance staff to keep things looking sharp or working like they did before Covid. I know this because I have a couple friends that are Cast members and they say it takes a long time for maintenance to respond when things stop working and it happens now all the time. When they do respond they are tired and just want to do the minimal to get a ride going because they are then off to the next disaster to fix. If Disney wants to get back to where they were they will have to pay more and hire more…but we all know that costs money and the current mantra for Disney is cut corners and make as much profit as possible.

The first time I did Flight of Passage, it was the best ride I had ever been on. The last time, the 3-D effect seemed to be off, so I just saw double vision, even with my glasses on. So it was still fun, but not as magical as before.

I and many people I know feel exactly the same. Thank you for sharing. It is very sad for all of us. The loss of beauty and magic and excellence. The entire place has a negative energy. I went every year sometimes multiple times a year took my children and my grandchildren and now it is horribly tarnished.

I’m glad I’m not the only one seeing blurred 3d on Flight!!! That is one of my favorite rides but not any longer. I see a lot of double images and it gives me a headache. Very disappointed….

I experienced blurry screens this week.😢

Disney thinks they are a luxury experience, but their upkeep is much worse than Universal.

We moved from Oregon to live near WDW. This is the first time in over ten years we didn’t renew our annual passes. Very disappointing. The cost for people to go into the park and wait in such tremendous lines, less magic, fewer characters is disappointing. I do think the greed is overwhelming. It’s not fun anymore. Sad. Like someone said earlier “Walt would be turning over in his grave”.
