She’s just old and tired and probably in need of refurbishment. This ride is incredible and has been since i was a kid and i owe getting over my fear of thrill rides to this thing, that being said it is showing it’s age. I last rode in January 2022 and the vehicle was making odd mechanical noises that just sounded like the motor was struggling a little more these days. Also at one point it just started jittering, the entire motion base just lightly bouncing and shaking around while we were stopped. Never seen that before in over 20 yrs of riding it. Looks like something blew in this video and probably just one of many things that needs to be replaced is all.
I’ve been on the Indiana Jones adventure when it’s broke down 3 different times I’ve been evacuated from the ride it’s a lot of fun it’s also built on the old goofy lot so it’s often goofy for that weren’t reason one time I was evacuated from the very spot where the video shows the sparks I didn’t know any sparks but yes I’ve been evacuated
This is getting ridiculous. Disney is making more money than ever gouging us on everything yet they’re running their parks like parking lot carnivals. Actually even worse than those carnivals because I’m actually to the point that I’d trust those rides more than a Disney ride. We were at Disneyland last December and rides were breaking and acting screwy all over the place. It’s heartbreaking that they’re letting Walt’s parks deteriorate just so they can hoard more money. Greedy scumbags.
I went on May 8th to celebrate 4 birthdays at once. When we FINALLY got on indy, the Boulder was completely missing, and there was no snake. Considering they’re milking us all for every single cent we have, you’d think they’d at least make sure the rides are in working order.
This ride is one of my favorites and it’s so sad that it’s been so neglected. I’ve been on when it was running perfectly as a kid and now I’ve been on it more times when something has gone wrong. The last time I thought I was going to die no exaggeration. The vehicle was turning so fast that my seatbelt came loose and immediately they stopped the ride and got everyone off. Ride was closed for the rest of our visit. So definitely not a fake video in my opinion

So they removed the snake entirely? It was present in January, but did not move at all.

This ride is great, but it breaks down ALL the time. If you want to get on this ride, go first thing in the morning. It needs an overhaul for sure.
