It is a way for the school district to earn some money. It is not sent from Disney, but from Get Away Today – a travel company. At least the brochures I have seen. If you schedule a Disney vacation through them and mention your school district, the district earns a percentage of what you spend – so it is a fund raiser for schools that partner with Get Away Today.

Inappropriate to use the school district and children as part of ya marketing plan. As a parent and taxpayer it’s hard to explain to a child that you may not be able to afford a vacation at Disney.

I received that pamphlet from them 6 years ago and they have helped my family plan several Disneyland and WDW vacations. We never dreamed we could afford to go before we started using them. They are actually really nice people and very helpful. They offered payment plans and is good for those who may not be able to drop $2-$5k at once. They also were on top of park closing and reopenings during the pandemic. People find the oddest things to be outraged about.
