  1. It doesn’t surprise me that people looking at inappropriate stuff while waiting in line. I’ve seen people watching questionable stuff around their own kids. I have season passes to Knott’s and Six Flags and I see a lot people not following the rules. Most of them are people with one day tickets and are usually unsupervised kids(ages 10+). I got hit by a piece of hard candy from a male teen(16-17) who was standing in line for Ghost Rider. I got security and the police on site involved. I wanted press charges against him for assault to show I was serious. He ended up getting a warning and removed from the line. The next day Knott’s rerouted the line for safety reasons. I’ve also see a lot of wearing inappropriate clothes at both the water and theme parks on both men and women. Some people think just because they’re only visiting for one day that rules don’t apply to them. It’s just like what you see and hear on social media “common sense” needs to come back.

I was walking behind some rowdy kids at the end of the night and this boy was spitting into the trees above us so it would drip on people. Park was very dirty and people were rude. Won’t be going back

Why on earth would anyone have an app that allows total strangers to share images to their phone? You might as just hand your phone to a stranger and ask them to download whatever they want to your phone…

Robot people and their iPhones lol – it’s hilarious

Only morons open their phones up to Airdrop. Stupid to blame the park for this problem.

    1. Alisa

The morons are the ones sending gross, unwanted images in the first place.

If you leave your air drop open then you’re going to get unwanted images, it doesn’t matter where you are. That’s been a well known fact for as long as air drop has even been a thing. So yeah, in this case the moron would absolutely be the person who didn’t turn off this feature while in a relatively small area with tens of thousands of strangers. Instead of crying about it on the internet, this person should have taken the steps necessary to prevent the person from happening in the first place.

          Shush you’re wrong

    2. Aaron

No one is blaming the park

AirDrop is an iPhone feature (not an Android) that’s convenient for sharing files amongst friends and family between their iPhones …. but it’s a feature you turn off when not sharing files with friends and family (unless you want to be bombarded with inappropriate content AND risk giving someone access to your device). I don’t know anyone with an iPhone (or their kids with an iPhone) that leaves AirDrop on.

I always have a pleasant time at Knott’s Berry Farm, it’s rare that I run into an individual -or a group – that’s a nuisance (when I do? Knott’s Berry Farm Security is prompt in handling the situation). I find most Park Guests are well-behaved and dressed appropriately. Is this guaranteed 100% of the time? No, not at any Theme Park today …. and Social Networks like TikTok are encouraging the worst behaviour in public (my opinion) by those wanting their 15 minutes of internet fame.

    Enjoy those boysenberries 😋

That’s hilarious because this is only a problem for IPhone users – say what you will but I control what I do on my android, not at the mercy of Apple….

    What an incredible NON-STORY

Making this seem like a Knott’s problem when it’s happening in places all over? Really? Happened on a flight recently. A guy shared an inappropriate picture to the entire flight. Airdrop is the issue, not Knott’s.

I agree, Airdrop is a non problem, where people should have it turned off. Been using Android since day one, mic more powerful and open OS, a Linux OS derivative, the best OS in the world. Also, my family has saved tens of thousands over 20+ years by not using Apple products, don’t get sucked in by their slick marketing and their huge markup!
