The Most Tragical Place in the World…

    Thanks, Bob!🙄

    1. Terri

I live 6 miles from Mickey Mouse land. They’d have to pay me to endure those crowds, long lines and screaming kids. No thanks!!

      1. BensonStein

Heat indexes have been in the low 100 degrees. That would be pure torture going there…

  2. Was at MK in DIsney Thursday and it was n’t crowded by my experiences. Have seen it more crowded at this time before COVID. Wait time for jungle Cruise said 1 hr and wait 30 minutes same with Haunted Mansion and others. Stores not bad either. Though went early in morning. Live hour from park daughter and family went Wed to HS, Thur to MK & Fri to Epcot said all three days were like that. Got to ride everything ROR, Galaxy etc. don’t know where info coming from and of course this Sat & Sun are usually busy because of fireworks

    1. Yosemite

I live 90 minutes from WDW and will not go there until September at the soonest. It is SUPER hot in central Florida now. Still, all you tourists come here now and mob the place at the risk of heat stroke so I can enjoy it this fall. Also, your ten-years-old-and-younger kids won’t remember any of it no matter when you go (never mind the stroller babies). Why waste your money???

      1. Zara

What’s your problem? Well if your not going until Sept don’t worry what other people are doing

        1. Joe

Agree. Have had a delightful time this weekend thus far. Crowds not bad and wait times are not bad either.

        2. David

Good, hopefully these tourists have a terrible time and decide not to come back. It would be great not to have to detour around a long traffic jam every day because of all the out-of-staters. Go home and find something to do in your own state!

          1. Clarissa

That is the most ignorant ass comment I’ve read all week.. Do you NOT realize that Florida is a tourist state?? Do you NOT realize it brings in revenue to Florida.. I live out of state and make it to WDW every year.. Now I’m even more determined to do so…If you don’t like living in a tourist state, move!! Simple instructions for a simple minded person…SMDH

          2. A and

Up north we see bumper stickers that say “when I get old, I am going down to FL and drive slow”. Maybe you are expecting this affect.

          3. Tina

Your area would fall apart without the tourists.

      2. Sue

Yosemite that’s why the Dr in celebration is always crowded this time of year bc of all the idiots that come down here when it’s 90 poise outside drag there kids around the parks and get sick But if that what they want to do more power to them. Are they crazy hell yes Disney is not worth is anymore. And yes we live 10 miles away and have many neighbors that work there and they even say are crazy people are. But if that what they have to do with there hard earn money. Go right ahead

        1. cathy Moriarty

Not many people are as lucky as you. Many come from other countries. My family go 1 to 3 times a year. It is becoming harder to understand all the new rules. The need a new park in the middle of the country. Too many rules & instructions are hard to understand. tand.

      3. Leeann Jacket

People remember being 8, 9 & 10. Man! My 10 year old has a memory like an elephant. He remembers being in pre-school. Lol! 😂

      4. Robert

The children in stroller photos that you take while at WDW will be a conversation piece for decades to come.

      5. Sue

Disney is such a train wreck now. We went opening day of Disney and 3 or 4 times a year since then. Too complicated now. It isn’t a vacation anymore

    2. Jade

      1.5 hrs is too much

    3. Chris

My family was there last week and I agree. Crowd sizes are ok. This site is known to exaggerate

    4. Justin Case

I smell troll lying their ass off!

  3. Steve

With how badly Disney oversells and over-reserves (reservations are about saving on staffing, not reducing crowds), you do NOT want to be in a park that is fully booked.

It would be great if instead of overselling and locking people out of parks they already paid for, Disney expanded capacity. All they want to do is shut down and wokify existing attractions. Oh, and build timeshares.

    1. Zara

They a business AND doing well at the moment… If you don’t like it don’t go

      1. Steve

Pathetic shilling. Their stock isn’t doing well and neither is their reputation.

        1. SCOTT m Lee-ROSS

          @Steve,
you do realize that everything you said in the OP was false. They do not oversell. When the reservations are gone, the system stops ticket sales for that date.
They do not lock people out of the park, they do not offer reservations to full parks. Their tickets are still good at a none sold-out park or there ticket has other days that it is valid for.
Finally, whether you like the redone attractions or not, has no bearing on what they are doing. They have opened Mickey &Minnie’s Runaway Railroad, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Cosmic Rewind in the last 18 month and will be opening Tron Lightcycle Run and Journey of Water in the next 12 months. Hardly “Wokify” (Whatever the heck that means)
Finally, stock price does not indicate financial results. And their reputation is doing fine, The parks are full (oversold according to your misguided statement) It can not be both suffering and oversold at the same time.
Your posting is nothing but ignorant prattle.

          1. Steve

            The career shill speaks again.

          2. Chris

I agree: these idiots crying “woke” (hate that word BTW) have no clue what they are taking about

        2. Mindy

          Park attendance says otherwise, lol.

        3. J0

I agree. Glad I’m not there. Haven’t used my Fl. Residents park pass once, and don’t want to. Everyone I know recently, came home with Covid!

      2. Travis Weberling

@Zara,& obviously & ironically they are a business that’s good at pissing off their customers, I’ve never seen & heard so many people complain about their day at WDW, or Epcot or WDL & say they’ll never go back, the only 1 of the Disney Parks that they have that I’ve NEVER heard complaints about is Animal Kingdom. Happiest place on earth my ass.

        1. CRT

I agree. I listen to the guests around me. I have never heard so many complaints from people who say this will be there last DW trip. Disney used to be about providing an exceptional experience for all guests. Sadly, this is no longer the case.

  4. Mike

Been there, done that. What’s the big deal with WDW???

    1. Mindy

Because not everyone there has “been there, done that”.

      1. Fil

And that doesn’t mean they have to either. Stay on your own state! Florida is already over crowded. People forgot we have another 49 states!

  5. Paul

Roll on 2025 I’m finished with Disney it’s turning out to be stressful that’s not a holiday I’m going to universal, sea world etc

    1. Zara

      Yet you still comment…

      1. SCOTT m Lee-ROSS

        @Zara
Paul is another of the ones that do not actually think before posting. He does not realize the contractions in his own post, just wants to repeat the prattle of others.

      2. Mindy

        Why are you so triggered?

      3. Tammy

I was at Disney last week. It was horrible. Wait times were ridiculous. Covid-19 was.rampany. my while family got sick and we didn’t hardly get to ride any of the rides. Eating at the food places were no better. They are trying to go high tech on everything. We won’t be back for a long time if ever. Worst vacation we have ever had. I’ve always loved Disney.

    2. Ellie

I am finished with it because if the way they have treated Johnny Depp and the way they treat their staff .
The most magical place in the world?? You must be kidding

  6. Clive

We go to Disney twice a year, from the UK. Normally 3 weeks at a time in March and November. We still enjoy going Christmas time is our favourite. We are older now in our late sixties so we tend not to ride as many rides but still love walking around, enjoying the atmosphere. You just have to expect long queues and get on with it.

  7. Jud

We have been last November and are returning in september too hot in July/August but did it when kids couldnt take time off school. I love it all ‘standing in line’ is just part of it! Better organized than other places I have been in Uk.

  8. Alan vincent

If Disney is so worried about money. Why the numbers limits if the people dont get to ride something thats the breaks …youre missing out on all the revenue from food and trinket sales people are just hsppy to be in ther walking around and seeing everything.why limit attendence its a first cone first served the way its always been with closures after numbers peak ..ti full attendance counts…open the doors if you know ahead of time you may not get everything thats your call if you choose to go in anyway..OPEN THE DOORS!!!!!

    1. Kat

Even Pre-COVID Disney parks had a capacity limit. The parks only hold so many people each.

      1. CRT

DW only closed its parks a few days a year (e.g., Christmas and New Years Eve), and then it was typically MK for just a few hours. The parks are operating nowhere near capacity right now. It’s long past time for Disney to get the parks back to normal. Maybe they should build fewer hotels.

      2. From 1984 to 2005 we would visit Disney at least every other year when my son was young. We would drive over from Daytona Beach. We would go at the end of July the first of August. There were crowds but nothing like 2hour waits. There were no price increases every year. There were nice restaurants to eat. At one point there was a nice restaurant in the Castle. Things started going down hill when CEOs started changing. Then started adding Fast Pass allowing people to pay to get in front line. The admission started changing ever year. By 2005, it was so different. That was when we noticed for the first time that some of the rides that were not working. To the person who said that the stock prices does say anything how a company is doing. That person doesn’t know much about businesses. Disney is losing money which stockholders are losing money. That is money they use to operate on. I believe is time to get a new CEO and step back. I believe Disney in for an eye opening. I believe by next summer after inflation truely sets in the Parks are going to support their high prices.

  9. Alishia

Glad I went this April. Nice experience not as crowded. We reserved the parks at least 2 months in advanced.

  10. Mindy

This is nothing. NYE…now that’s a crowd. Done that a few times without issues. Also, so much for the right’s hopefulness that everyone will boycott and Disney will go bankrupt. Doesn’t look like it judging by the park attendance. Lol.

  11. James

Hell no I would never go during peak times. It was rough in mid October. I couldn’t imagine July 4.

  12. Kat

This is non-news. Disney is historically packed on July 4, and this is always a busy week for traveling because it’s mid-summer with a paid holiday for Americans. It’s normal for MK and Epcot to be full on the 4th.

  13. David

Good, hopefully these tourists have a terrible time and decide not to come back. It would be great not to have to detour around a long traffic jam every day because of all the out-of-staters. Go home and find something to do in your own state!

  14. Paul.E

Have been to Disney World from the UK around 20 times over the last 35 years. I will not return. What is the point buying a 21 day pass and booking a holiday if you then can’t get in for 7 days. Also becoming rich people’s play park, where if you can also afford the line skipping passes. You are treated differently.

  15. Phylicia

Praying that this Place is shut down forever! In the Most Holy name of Jesus!

  16. Joanne

All the quick passes and queues the Disney organization implement will not improve our experience! The only thing that will improve the experience is if they reduce the number of guests they allow in the park daily– it is that simple ! This would allow people to have an enjoyable visit. We spend a fortune to visit the parks, me included, but I am done ! I will no longer spend 1000’s per visit — there is nothing magical about disney anymore. But as long as we continue to pay to be “stuffed in” then they will continue to laugh all the way to the bank!

  17. PJ

Your numbers are only for 2 weeks and are NOT JUST DISNEYBOUND people. Per MCO reports “More than 3.6 million passengers traveled through Florida’s busiest airport in February 2022.” So your news is not accurately stated. Disney is just blocking people from coming to the parks in an elitist move. Just sad!

  18. TimM

Been once and that was once too many for this family. Why do people throw their money at this place??? There’s so much of the REAL world to see yet people throw away wads of cash at this make-believe tourist trap. Wake up, people!

  19. Chick

Someone is lying about the economy.
