Remember that saying about the government not liking theft because they have a monopoly on it?

Pretty much everything is far worse at DW than it was just 10 years ago. My family may never go back. I know we won’t while Cheapskate is there.

It’s annoying but I get it. When you’re in a long line sometimes a potty break is a dire necessity at any age and you should not have to go to the back of the line because of it.

That is different than having one person enter the queue and then having 10npeople join them when they get closer to the front.

Agreed, sometimes it can’t be helped!!

We went the week after July 4th and it was awful at all the parks. Grown adults bypassing everyone in lines that are 2 hours long. My 3 year old and 8 year old waited patiently in lines. I get if you have to get out to take a potty break with a kid, but don’t jump the line just because you didn’t want to wait!

This happened to us this morning in line for Kali River Rapids. A group of 7 people butted through the line and when we complained one of the girls said she was getting insulin for her diabetic mother while showing us a Mickey ice cream bar… Lol what?

A friend of ours was there the week of July 1 and was waiting in the line for Rockin Roller Coaster. He said groups of 4, 5, 6 people were cutting in saying their friends were up ahead. The cast member saw this and the friend commented about it to the cast member. Shockingly, the cast member told them to follow him (there was 4 in the group). He took them to the front of the line. They were beyond shocked. All they did was comment about what the others were doing. So, somewhere there is still some of that “Disney Magic”!!!

I have no desire to go back right now. I don’t know if crowds will become nicer, kinder, or respectful anytime soon. Cast Members should be praised for all they go through trying yo make each day the best day.

I had this on Rise of the resistance 2 days ago. Multiple groups joining one person in the 110 minute long queue. I confronted one group and told them that that person in line should go back to them rather than all of them moving forwards, and the people behind me in the queue told me I was a miserable old git for doing that

The more they allow it, the more prevalent it will become. Soon it will be the norm if they don’t stop it.

It occurs to me that cell phones may be the reason why you see more of it now. There were always bathroom breaks for kids–but it was hard to time when to meet with the person saving a space before phones–although people tried with walkie-talkies in 90s. Now they can call when they’re close.

I hate it but because it’s hard for me to physically do it for so many people–I’m often in wheelchair or scooter. Last time I was in Radiator Racers too many groups of 4-6 pushed ahead of us that I couldn’t count them all. Too old for bathroom breaks.

Have the line set for 250 to 500 or so people at a time. Give out times of return like they used to with the old fast pass system. They know exactly how many guests per hour fly through each ride, so it’s not too difficult to do the math and print up x number of passes per hour. Breakdowns? Offer a return ticket for the last two hours of the park being open or another ride. Not everyone shows up? Sorry, tough luck.

It’s so bad. We went to Disneyland 2 weeks ago and it was beyond frustrating.

Happened to us this morning. Much worse than previous few years. While in line for mine train this morning at rope drop, people in line are “holding spots” for family friends while they go do other rides. There were 3 parties around us 1 in front and 2 behind where 1 person stayed in line while a total of 12, yes 12 people went to do other rides then jumped back in line (one in front of us was a party of 6 and tried to push past after about 30 mins in line) don’t get me wrong if 1 person needs to hit the bathroom totally understand but CM need to be aware of this and not allow huge parties to “catch up”. Wait like everyone else, it is rude and inconsiderate to think the rules don’t apply to you. Everyone wants to get on the rides just like your family. Sorry but this was super frustrating this morning. 🤷🏻‍♀️
