    Despite their promises of a unified canon, Disney has already broken their canon a number of times. So saying they won’t is some 1984s double speak.

    That’s besides all the other times Disney has our right lied to us about their intentions for Star Wars. There’s no reason to trust them anymore.

      I agree, and well said. Seems like everyone has also forgotten the Vader line from a New Hope that strongly implies they had not met since their fateful encounter on Mustafar.

    What a load of bunk. Everyone knows Disney just makes it up as they go. The writers probably had no clue that the Grand Inquisitor had previously appeared. And why would they care?? They’re obviously not concerned about producing quality products. It’s all about dumping as much content onto Disney plus as quickly as possible. I mean, they can always just say the later GI was a clone…
