They are building DVC villas at Polynesian so I’m assuming that’s what it going there.

To put it in simple terms so the people who are in charge can understand ,it was a stupidly made poor decision based on corporate greed to eliminate a Disney Tradition !

      Agreed!

I agree, greed made the decision. My family and I have been going there since the early seventies and the Luau was always a “must”. I know we stayed and enjoys the Polynesian because it reminds us of Hawaii and the luau was a HUGE part of that. We won’t be staying there and not sure we’ll even go back anyway because of all the “woke” decisions to be honest.

Walt Disney world is NOT the same! They’ve taken out ALL the great things that made you want to go there. I’m not sure whether or not I will return and that’s ashamed since I’ve been there almost every year since they opened! They should have looked more carefully when they replaced their CEO!

So, more guests with less to do in the parks meaning everyone will be crammed into the existing shows and restaurants even more.

Again, Chapek is charging us more than ever, and giving us less than ever. And just like the hideous remodeling plans for Disneyland’s Downtown Disney (removing all theming from Brennan’s, Tortilla Joes, and demolishing the only movie theater), to the ‘modernizing’ of the Victorian Grand Floridian to this DVC tower that looks like a Radisson in Bakersfield, it’s very clear that Chapek has forced out our most talented Imagineers. Last I read 70% of the Imagineers declined to move to Florida and have resigned per Micechat. Great job Bob, if they leave Chapek in control any longer, he’ll modernize all of the hotels and parks to make them all look like Radisson Suites. Chapek is all about saving money for his bonus, while killing the Disney magic and our wallets. Fire Chapek

When Joe quit, the writing was on the wall.

So sad to see what Disney has evolved into. Lifeling Disney fans and visitors since it opened, but really don’t care to go any more. From scheduling times to the huge crowds and demishing attractions to build more rooms–I”m done.

One of the best shows on the property. Greed tops fun

  7. DVC so white

The typical DVC buyer is very white and they hate themselves for it.

  8. Tyty

I can confirm that they are putting the new DVC polynesian extension in the shows place. This was confirmed by Disney and a few other insiders when they announced it.

Thank goodness they’re getting rid of something so culturally insensitive. The only thing permissible at Disney is a bunch of mayonnaise sandwiches on Wonderbread. The place is very white and it’s wrong of these white people to show any interest in another culture or to somehow try to interact with this other culture. And, OMG, the idea of paying money to people from another culture is the worst form of imperialism.

It is Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, not Review.

I’m sure they will replace it with something from Africa
