It’s only available in Canada? There’s no Cineplex in US.

Sony re-released Morbius in theaters, only to watch it fail… AGAIN. How could anyone think that was a good idea? I don’t think a studio could make a worse decision.

    Disney: Hold my blue milk…

“Ray Park” played Darth Maul. God the dude is one of the greatest cgi actors alive. You can at least get his name right

It’s probly due to lack of subs on D+ and they want a chance to get everyone’s money they lost there.

It could also be Disney protecting themselves like Jon said, but then I would think the “movie” would of had to of come out first.

That’s a long movie to watch.
Another thing. I see all these articles talking about how much the Fandom hates Kenobi on Dis+. I don’t get it. I have enjoyed it so far as have any Star Wars fans I have talked about it with. Many of us are veteran fans, having seen ep 4 in 1977. Is it a generational dislike of this series?

Its plot holes galore, continuity breaking for reasons… Bad acting across the board and forced feminism and recycled babysitting storyline.

What Disney should have done is leave the Skywalker era to rest in peace and go back to the old republic era. New stories, new characters, new ideas.

Give this Skywalker era a rest and move the franchise along

They should have made obi wan a movie in the first place.
But on a good note episode 5 of obi wan, Vader finally puts Reva out of his misery. Pity it took 4 3 episodes to do so

    No, no, no
    You are missing it

    This is the “Black Widow”effect.

This whole project started as a movie, remember? It was going to be a “Star Wars Story” just like Solo and Rouge One – Boba Fett too.

This theatrical release is for contract reasons to avoid another Scar Jo like lawsuit from Ewan who is also an Executive Producer like Scarlett was on Black Widow

  5. Bob Cheapskate

To fix how long it would be for theatrical release they could just cut out the useless and lame inquisitors.

This whole article is a joke. It must be. The way it’s written is definitely for comedy. There is a Joker 2 musical article going around as well. Entertainment media and s taking a piss on us for some reason. Or maybe it’s Russia.

Just looked it up, it is one showing, in one theater in Toronto, and no seats sold or no seats available. I am sure it is a contract thing. It received a theatrical release.

The destruction of my beloved Star Wars continues under this disaster of a Disney regime.

If it isn’t in theaters it won’t qualify for awards. That’s all this is.

If i may correct one thing in your article: apart from that one african american with that twitter message to moses ingram, none of the messages shown by uer or disney have bee racist. And even now nearly all the backlash to this show have been about Obi Wans character regression, the lack of Hayden Christensens presence on screen, and the rather dragging storyline.

Moses ingram is not the first person of color in star wars, and she wont be the last. Thus this manufactured racist backlash holds no wieght nor makes any sense.

I’d go see it. The difference is, the HUGE screen. My wife has been waiting to binge the whole thing at once, this would be a good way to do it. I’m enjoying the series, although the directing is sub par.

  12. “Unprecedented hate towards singular characters”? Have you never heard of Jar Jar Binks?

*spoiler alert* *spoiler alert* *spoiler alert*

You enjoyed watching Obi-wan running away from Vader like that? That “fight”, you enjoyed that? No, it’s not generational, just accurate – this version is but a shadow of what the original used to be.

It’s like watching an old Disney show from their TV days. Graphics are very bad.
