Id love to . But that’s freaking insane. And sets a bad precedent. There will be more!

    Can’t wait for the experience!

Seems to violate the premise of “WELCOME EVERYONE”. I don’t know of Disney is something I want to be associated with (anymore) after thirty years. Our company has stopped the association, put in hold to let things settle and see if Disney is worth it. I personally never though I’d ask the question if Disney reputation, myth, moral, an direction would align to ours is a company or family, its been sad to watch all this.

money buys the experience. unfortunately for many of us, we use credit and the post experience, may not be a happy one

“Disneyland is your land.” Well, Walt, not so much now. I live in AZ and will continue to visit regularly; I still love Walt’s original park. I just took a short trip and it was one of the best I’ve had. But I understand your company halting (or putting on hold) their financial association with Disney. I am saddened to see the blatant money grab that has become Chapek’s signature.
I fully understand that Disney is a business, not a charity of non-profit. They do need to make money, and even with their massive resources, the pandemic hit the parks branch hard. Totally get that. But the parks are open, and even with a summer covid spike, things are going well. It’s just that looking at some of the things that have been done under Chapek, especially the elimination of FastPass for the (IMO) disaster of Genie+, all I can see is the parks branch heading in the direction of courting ONLY the well-off guest, leaving working class people in the dust. Also, the equally disastrous elimination of the old AP for the (gack) Magic Key – well how’s that working out for you, Chapek? A judge has ruled that the class action lawsuit over the blatant bait-and-switch game you played with the highest tiers may proceed.
I have absolutely no problem with Disney making money, as long as they (A) boost their staffing to pre-pandemic levels and (B) PAY THEIR CAST MEMBERS A GODDAM LIVING WAGE. Bob Chapek got a massive bump in his salary in 2021 (you know, the year they were just starting to recover from the pandemic) to a whopping $32 million. That’s an insane salary when they can’t get CMs to return because they were tired of living in their cars on a Disney paycheck. Cut Chapek’s salary (or better still, replace him; he’s toxic now) and PAY YOUR AMAZING PEOPLE WHAT THEY ARE WORTH. Without Cast Members, Disneyland is just a well-themed Six Flags park.

  4. Flying private is obviously expensive. It would be a trip of a lifetime.
The average person can’t afford this or taking that much time off from work. Disney has been in the green environment cult for a while, so this is saying we are environmentally friendly until someone hands us 100 grand.

good point. how do you get that much time off? unless you live in a few European countries (which have decent vacation time)

  5. Penny

Ridiculous. Just a regular visit has gone outside of spending limits, and even if I had the $$, why would I choose that? I’d sooner tour the US or Europe. I can get a lot more bang for the buck, without having to plan out how much I need to have to spend on food, or not being able to get on rides.
Maybe I have to be worth millions to think this is a good idea.

I’m heartbroken that Disney Parks are no longer for the average family and only for the rich and famous! Sure goes against everything Walt Disney started it all allowing an average family to come to Disneyland 2, or even 3 times in a year, if they wanted to! So disappointing!!

  7. I think it should be open to the entire world as a raffle. And let a regular Joe pick the winners live. So, at least it would be some form of honesty.

    1. Laney

      Love that idea!

All I want to see is at Disney World (or on a Disney cruise!). But even THAT is fast moving out of sight. Where’s Walt when you really need him? In fact, where’s real reality when it comes to Disney any more? Remember when it was a wonderful treat to hit the parks a short while back? What the heck is happening??!!

    1. Denise

OMG, it would be so awesome! If I had that kind of money in the bank. Would Love to see all the parks!

  9. Ed

How do you get that much time off???? You would understand if they made the manifest public record. Just realize what the average vacationing family (4) would pay.

Come on guys…this is Not for the “average Joe” and I’m okay with that. This is a special offering from Disney to take this trip. I would love to be under Disney’s care on this trip.
People of wealth spend this amount everyday on trips, homes, jewelry, vacations, etc. It’s just a different lifestyle. They own their own businesses, family inheritance, fabulous jobs, famous people and like. Don’t have to worry about “time off” like the Average person.
It’s Life….move on and enjoy yours.
    Am I jealous….heck yeah. 🤪

Quit defending Disney on this and wealthy people they don’t deserve that kind of empathy

      1. Laney

        Love that idea!

I am betting a lot aren’t paying. Travel group execs and business buddies.

There are no words to explain how this once affordable kingdom keeps getting more & more unaffordable /eventually out of the average family’s reach to bring their kids to what was once a Happy Place. My 17 yr old Autistic son has never been to Any of the Disney Parks- we live in California- and I’ve been trying to save $ for us to come visit. But you keep pushing it out of our reach. He’s such an avid fan of The Cars franchise, Nemo and all the other characters that have evolved from you. Thanks for turning our hopefully one day to visit to non existent. And It hurts to see my son let down by what you’re doing.

    1. JD

Move out of California to a more affordable state. Save money and then take your son to either Disneyland or Disneyworld. That’s what I did for my two autistic daughters.

This is the direction America is going as a whole. We’re just on the edge of becoming a third world country where there will only be rich and poor.

I have refused to support Disney for a number of years now. They are an entertainment industry and should not be so political. The magic of Disney left a long time ago. I grew up on “The Wonderful World of Disney ‘ on Sunday nights. Those were the days.

    1. DLand

I Loved watching that too Allison. I couldn’t wait till Sunday evening came around 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

  15. Once in some people’s life time. It would be amazing!!! Don’t blame Disney for this, it’s a travel company that had a great idea.

It’s very unfair that we couldn’t even get the chance to participate in the general public sale because it was sold out in a pre-sale that was probably available to the same people who organized the event and …. …perhaps all or mostly paid by the sponsors
