Marvel Comics side has had a history of doing things to spite the Marvel Studios side so this difference could as easily be about their internal conflicts as anything else.
That’s not the case anymore Kevin Feige is the CCO of Marvel. Erything goes through him so Marvel Comics doing this isn’t something to spite Marvel Studios it’s just this particular comic run
What a ridiculous article that couldn’t be more wrong! The White Wolf was introduced about 20 years ago in Black Panther by Christopher Priest, so no one is erasing anything or anyone by using this character in a comic book. In the MCU Bucky (quite randomly) received the nickname White Wolf without having ANY connection to the actual existing character from the comics. But if the author of this article didn’t know it yet: the MCU and the comics are two separate entities! 🙄
