  1. People will probably change their opinion after Chapek gets fired. But then again, you have someone else who wants to have a homosexual character in every production (probably a desensitizing campaign). After that is accomplished will they have movies about teens transitioning?

I can relate with Kayleigh. Grew up Disney. Huge fan of Walt, love the classic characters, and so do my kids. We’ve been watching Disney cartoons/movies for years, and Disney was our family vacation destination every other year.

After our last visit in April, that’ll be it, until Disney decides to change course.

Honestly, companies need to stay out of politics unless it directly affects them, for example 8t should be fine for them to fight to keep the Reedy Creek District, No Fly Zones, etc., But they shouldn’t be able to say anything about other legislation or candidates.

      Completely agree!

Interesting thing about America… we have a Constitution that specifically says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

… and we live here with that protected right… so we should not “abridge the freedom of speech” of anyone, including individuals (say what you need to – even if that means words that describe your version of love) or companies (protect your employees, their rights and the evolving nature of love).

At the end of the day though, the world is bigger than politics. Safely do what you need to do, because opinions of others are just that.

Let haters stay home! How self-righteous they are to claim that Kindergarteners are being groomed (they aren’t) when their hero DJT was a groomer of the worst kind! It’s all political BS!

It’s a shame all you people are so afraid when someone expresses their opinion. Disney has a right to their opinion. And also the right to state it. This is America stop trying to make it Russia. We have a freedom to say what we want .

Exactly Sandy, what about freedom of speech and opinions. Oh wait that is only when it applies to themselves, or if it is in support. I hear that they need to stay out of politics, but politicians should not have a say in how businesses run their business. Be told what they can and can not teach.

Our family has been going to Disneyland (California) and Disney World (Florida) since the beginning of both parks. That is over 50 years! Not only my husband, myself and four children have loved going to a family oriented place where we could have fun in a safe way! Walt Disney had the idea to start a park because of his children then obviously expanded his ideas for other people to enjoy. It was a neutral place, but the executives are trying to change everything by making the characters gay to appease the LGBTQ people. That is so wrong as that is not what Walt envisioned. The way the parks have been run in the past they welcomed with open arms all people, races, religions, etc. To throw the ‘new agenda’ into our faces not only for Disney characters, but making more and more movies to persuade and force people to accept the gay philosophies is not right! Please keep Walt Disney’s dream alive by not destroying the dreams and love of the Disney Parks for all people and keep it neutral based as it has been for years. Thank you

Disney is great keep up the good work and thank you for being all inclusiveness for everyone if the fanatic Republicans do not like it go to Russia you seem to have more in common with them mean and nasty

Why can’t we all just get along? Why can’t you take your children to Disney without there being a discussion of who is having sex with who? We took our kids several times. Not once did we have a discussion about how Disney feels about the LGBQT community or about what person any character was choosing to spend their time with. Quit trying to make everything political. Not everything has to be an opportunity for you to stand on one side or another. Just live and let live! That is the best advice I have ever heard.
