Somebody HAS to see this BEFORE commenting

We should all cancel our Disney+ subscriptions, stop going to the parks and stop buying ANY Disney merchandise. IF…………IF……………enough of us do that, and the stock tanks low enough, Disney shareholders JUST MIGHT vote Chapek out………..along with the current Chairman, and vote a NEW one in

We ALL have to save what we truly love. The Walt Disney Company must be saved

And MOST importantly, we all have to PERSUADE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME, and WARN Disney of the impending boycott to REALLY get Chapek SCARED.

And I will be seriously disappointed if I see ANYONE, and I mean just ONE PERSON commenting WITHOUT vowing to do ANY ONE OF THESE THINGS. We must both BOYCOTT Disney AND encourage others to do the same. Can you really consider yourselves Disney fans if you choose NOT to fight and sweat blood to save Disney, and recruit others in this crusade? Can you, REALLY?

I want you to think very hard about that

    I hope everyone understands

You know what is even better? No lightning lane, just one standby line.

Absolute rip off – when the parks are busy your lucky to get one attraction. Bring back the old fast pass Cheapak you money hungry jerk. No one likes this new Genie but you and your money hungry board members

According to Luke daMann, the cost of Lightening Lane is $20.00 per hour.

I don’t understand how a major company like Disneyland puts out a program like Lightening Lane when it would be too easy to forsee these results. Of course, if you send everyone to a slow line, it will get crowded! I noticed this before LL on the app–we would see where slow lines were (like everyone else reading the app!), and then rush over there to find a long line. Disney had to know this would happen and think it was ok to create this mess. It just cheapens the brand, the guest experience, and any desire I personally have to go there. I have heard many complaints from people that even if you have Gene+, it’s a mess.

I’d also like to say that the original Fastpass was the beginning of these problems. Before that the lines all moved pretty good–popular rides having longer ones. But you could use things like time of day, parade times, etc. to help determine when a line would be slowest. I just don’t think that all this technology has helped anything for us.

We used Genie+ recently at Disney World and loved it. Hated waking up early to book but it was great, and didn’t notice anything like above. We stood in some normal lines late in the evening but basically moved through the parks easily and efficiently. I was initially skeptical, but ended up loving it! (Definitely watch tutorials on YouTube).

  6. As stated in the past, as long as Disney continues down this path, my family will not be attending parks. Some may say that’s great, more room for others. My family knows what Disney used to be. We can go to any theme park. Disney no longer sets them apart. No magic, no pixie dust, nothing. Just a “theme park”. Nothing special anymore. Just ow we feel. So enjoy the extra space, and inflated cost.

  7. We were at Disney World May 10-May 17….
We bought Genie+ when we booked the trip last May….we only had to pay for two rides on lightening lanes 15.00 each….everyother ride was ghru Genie+
Worked great for us,nocomplaints what so ever…

We was seriously considering a visit later this year, to celebrate 25 years since our first visit. I’m very disappointed to hear about these awful changes, and I’m sure Walt would be too. We’ve been to Disney world twice, Disneyland twice and Disneyland Paris twice, and enjoyed them all. Mx 😢

We just went recently and it was not good. Think about it you.paid huge amount of money to ho to each park. At the end of the day if you are lucky you rode 5 rides. All because of wait time. And you still may not have gotten a chance to ride one of the new ones. We did have lightening and was unable to ride all we wanted. The lowest wait time at Hollywood Studios was 55 minutes. Not worth the money anymore. My family has been going for 35 years and we are DVC. Thinking of selling. So sad.
