I love Disney world, AP, and go often. But they took all the fun out of it. I want to be able to go where I want, at any time, or day. Don’t think they will ever go back to normal😥
Our last trip we stayed at a resort and did not do a single park day. Planning the same for the next trip. The ridiculous amount of people in the parks, the trying to get impossible reservations, insane lines, and waking up at the crack of dawn to try to get a reservation does not make for a nice vacation.
We have been planning our first of June Disneyworld trip since Christmas. Yes, I am old and this has been so complicated that and nerve wracking that the fun and magic has almost evaporated and we haven’t even left home yet.
We checked availability to Magic Kingdom, went back to purchase tickets, and by the short time we went back to reserve Magic Kingdom, it was filled up. So agree, we shouldn’t be able to buy same day ticket if reservations for that park are full.
We were supposed to go for our annual Christmas trip and another trip to celebrate my son’s 18th bday. We canceled our planned trips for the above reasons. Too complicated and expensive to be magical. It’s not like my teenage son is going to joyfully get up at 7am on his birthday to plan his day at the parks. What’s the point of paying to park hop if you can’t start at the Magic Kingdom and take the monorail to Epcot for lunch??? I’m 100% sure if Walt were here now, he’d want people looking for hidden Mickey’s and not looking at their phones. Glad we enjoyed the magic while it still existed.

The whole point of going on vacation is to get away from your over scheduled, stressful daily life. How is this a vacation?

No money, no Mickey!! Should be their new slogan!

Thinking of selling my vacation club for this same reason. Not much of a vacation with all these requirements. Not much fun anymore.

Looking for the first time with our grand kids. I’m preparing for a slew of disappointments at a high cost!
