“Paycheck” won’t spend the money. He’s too busy trying to figure out ways to charge for perks that were free. Disney parks aren’t what they used to be.
I adore this ride. Even the queue is cool. Every time I hope in my Jeep, it conjures the film score and Indie’s adventures. I hope Disneyland imagineers get to keep improving it and that maintenance returns to priority status. Apathy and disrepair is very UN-Disneylike.
I was so excited to bring my boyfriend on this ride, since he’d never been on it. I was extremely disappointed when the spiders crawling on the walls and the arrows being shot were non-existant and instead, we were in complete darkness. Made no sense and a lot of the story was lost.
I haven’t been in Disneyland in awhile but so many people complain about Disney doing barley anything wrong so I imagine they are just being dramatic and it is just a basic close off like when other rides brake down or have issues
Funny enough, I have taken my son on this so many times over the years and I kept mentioning the water to him. He was so confused and couldn’t imagine what I was talking about. I didn’t realize that the water was not visible from the other seats in the row. One day he finally sat where I normally get seated and couldn’t believe that there was water!
I have been to both Indy and the Dinosaur ride at WDW…and we are Socal residents and was AP members pre covid…and yes Indy does tend to break down frequently but I still love it! I can tell if my jeep is hesitant going thru places that it may brake down…my 12 yr daughter and I was actually on the ride when it broke down ,while we were on the bridge in the firepit! Facing the other jeep! Had to be escorted out and the ‘magic’ seeing everything lit up wasn’t quite the same…but as AP members then…still love it.
Who cares? All of Disney is broken now that they’ve gone woke. We’ve been going since Epcot first open and now that we have grandkids, none of our family is going back. Rather than focusing on family experience and the attractions all of the energy and resources are going towards developing perverse toys targeting children.
It seems to me every time I turn around the raising prices. But watch till somebody gets hurt they’re not going to do nothing to fix it because people keep paying outrageous prices to go there every week. I don’t know how families could afford to go there it’s ridiculous. They over pack park it takes forever to go on one ride. U go less rides pay more money. What a bunch of suckers. They don’t care because they Making big money and spending less money on the park to putting more money in there greedy pockets.
Indie ride broke down right when i was at the park in 2019 right at the point where the boulder rolls. We were all sitting in pitch black darkness for nearly 5 minutes before the lights came on, but the ride didn’t move for minutes after that. Good thing we all had flashlights on our phones.
We went on this ride when it first opened. Awesome effects! Now trying to explain what is missing to my grown children makes the ride seem so dull. I still love it but it just makes me sad. Even trying to explain the symbols on the walls! They are messages. There is a decoding chart! My kids thought I was crazy! 😂😂
Really, how often does break down. I remember going to Disneyland when it was new and the Disneyland hotel was all decorated as such. 1- 2 1/2 hour wait times an never broke. With all the new technologies can’t fix ?! What would WALT do !? Imagineers or bankers.
We were just at Disney and the ride broke down 3 times in the same day. When it was finally operational, I noticed several aspects of the ride were no longer functional from past visits. With the amount of money you pay to visit the park, people expect everything to work properly. While there is a ton of other attractions to enjoy, I hope they refurbish the Indiana Jones ride in time for the new movie coming out.

I am not a fan of this ride at all. Like Dinosaur slightly better, but neither is one I’d cue up for.

Seriously fix the effects of this ride.
I love the nostalgia of it but needs upgrading.

Glad you all woke up. The park is still too packed after all of your boycotting.
