More likely, it’s highly news-gullible investors saying “Gosh, what will happen to Disney after DeSantis TAKES AWAY Reedy Creek’s status?”

    Ohh, what indeed? (Suc-kerrrs…)
I almost wish I had money to invest at this low price, knowing what most Disney fans do about why that will never, ever happen.

Who had the biggest self own this year? Putin, DeSantis or Musk??

      1. Bob

Well since Desantis and Musk have been absolutely killing it, Putin it is!

        1. CalledIt

LOL! Musk is imploding to the point Telsa stockholders are about ready to call a vote of no confidence. Meanwhile DeSantis is getting steamrolled by the Mouse and haven’t even got to court yet.

Would hate to live in your universe….hard to imagine anyone any more clueless

Maybe Disney just followed the rest of the market in the massive downturn and the timing is coincidental not causal. For me, DIS is on sale!

And other stocks are doing worse like Telsa but MAGAers don’t live in reality.

Do you mean the reality of inflation, gas prices, and supply shortages that your dirtbag party has put the country in?

        1. Lucy

Try educating yourself Bruce. A lot of other countries are suffering inflated prices and most prices were at their highest when the Republicanorange buffoon left.

Well maybe Disney played their hand too quickly and/or terribly! Disney has made and continues to make terrible decisions! They need to refocus on why they are here, for FAMILY entertainment! All the propaganda that they are involved in is what is hurting their company! So many are boycotting them, not just because of their woke agenda but also because of all of their price increase’s.

    1. Joe

I think you’re correct Candy. The problem is people are booking Disney to capacity even with all the increases. Probably due to the fact they couldn’t go anywhere for 2 years. But with inflation and the price of transportation going up so much, these vacations are starting to hit home. I believe 2023 will be a changing year for the Mouse House after everyone goes broke this year. Luckily I sold my stock the day the woke employees and Chapek opened their mouths. Now I’ll get to buy back in cheap.

    1. A lesson to all companies. Stay out of politics. Everybody is allowed an opinion. Stop the woke, cancell culture. Start bringing people together. Follow the example of Jesus, Ghandi, Mandela!

This is due to Disney’s outrageous increase in prices and lowering of customer service. This isn’t the same company or place it was ten years ago, but maybe plummeting stocks will finally get someone’s attention, so Disney can revisit their choice of CEO, CFO, and other Board members that make decisions without consideration to the paying customer.

What a great time to buy stock!

You can bet the stockholders of Disney are going to give the company head the boot during the next stockholders meeting . This guy is giving away the company to radical nut jobs in the company . Get Disney out of politics and social engineering .

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,
Maybe I am living in an alternate universe. But I seem to recall (about 2 years ago) where gas prices were around 2.50 gallon or less, my grocery bill for my family every week was at least around $100 cheaper, foreign policy was in order, committing a crime was actually against the law, illegal immigration was actually illegal, etc. etc. Everything has progressively gone downhill over the last two years, everything. I do not need a “hug” from the people in charge but they need to manage things correctly so that I am getting what my hard earned dollar is paying for in order to support my family. Keep playing the blame game? How long is that going to last as it is getting old. Compare the U.S. (supposedly a world power) to other countries that are having problems? Are we not supposed to lead by example? Our country is being run by a “failed” career politician. Disney has a “failed” career CEO in charge. Both have failed policies but there are individuals that still support them which is truly amazing. Real leaders need to be in charge not someone who just continually panders to whichever group raises their voice the loudest. Everyone needs to wake up and stop supporting U.S. and Disney policy which is in no way beneficial to the majority of the population of the country or in Disney’s case the majority of paying customers. Make your voice heard in November.
