I will watch more Sony movies because of the decision they made. Not only would it have ruined the movie, but we need people and companies to stand up for the American people and our nation’s landmarks.

Omg shut up. Crap like this is why people hate Americans

Heaven forbid people are proud of the country they come from. You should know, Comrade.

I’m happy some of Hollywood is having artistic integrity. Bending over backwards to please the deranged Chinese government is pathetic. The US audience can’t be proud of its heritage?? Everyone is scrambling to get into the US. No one is heading to Orwellian China. Boo XI self you P.O.S. Who’s this Gu girl??

Ah yes. Because Americans are the only people in the world that take pride in their landmarks. Nice try pal.

There is nothing wrong with having pride in your country, just don’t be blinded by it. Changing a product to suit a country is ok till it is offensive. Removing well know landmarks is insane and just brain washing control.

“Changing a product to suit a country is ok…” Apparently you don’t know the meaning of the words “artistic integrity”.

Surprised Disney didn’t bow to their Chinese overlords this time. They probably would have if Sony wasn’t involved.

Bwahaaa Disney’s “Chinese overlords” OMG 🙄😂

      1. Kevin

Wouldn’t be the first time Disney bowed down to them and did what the Chinese government told them to. Or did you forget Disney pulling a Simpsons episode that was critical of the Chinese government from Disney+?

Do some research and look at how much studios change so China’s government will approve releasing shows and movies. It’s pathetic. They control their people so much over censoring the weirdest stuff. Glad Sony told them to jump in a lake.

Idk, I understand it’s all business, so maybe make a US cut and a China cut?, It’s better than trying to make a movie for everyone, I sure wouldn’t want to watch a movie adapted for Chinese audiences since that literally means it’s a censored version but I’m not opposed to them watching whatever it is they want.

Nah that’s not business. You shouldn’t support that kind of stuff to make a buck. Standards
