This is not news, there are hundred, if not thousands of marketing research papers on the idea of “Choice Paralysis.” Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
Personally I love streaming. There are no contracts so we can pick one service up for a month, then drop it. Pick up another service the next month and do the same thing.
I’ve read for years that people have wanted to have a la carte and only pay for the content they want to see. Well, this is probably the closest that we will get to that.
