I love it when you pay the big $$ for Disney entertainment and you find your favorite rides are shut down, or better yet have a two or three hour wait time.
The Disneyland version of pirates is much better in that like most original rides at Disneyland they are longer and more elaborate. This was corrected in Disney World to increase profit and reduce wait times.
Remember Walt wanted to correct all the mistakes he made in DL at WDW.

Pirates queue at MK is so lame compared to Disneyland.

Pirates closed on March 14th for a ‘long’ referbish…..refurbish….. at least early summer?
