      Congratulations!

      🙄

There is an actress listed as Ammit in the IMDB for the show, so yes we should see her.

Just done. MCU…an overrated, underwritten, poor excuse for movie versions of Marvel Comics. I, for one, am done watching Disney use the names of these iconic characters and comics, but changing everything else to suit their opinions and views. If ever there comes a time when they start returning to the original storylines and characters without butchering them to fit the writers views of what they should have been, I may return, but I don’t see that happening, so ….. You can keep it

    1. D

So you just want to see TV versions of the same comic you’ve already read? You just want word for word rehashes, with no updates or ingenuity to provide a better live action experience ?? Weird but ok…

      1. Carl

        The book is always better

        1. belreal

which book? for decades there’s many reiterations by different writers and artists. so I wanna know which “comic source materials” you’re referring to smh

          1. Duh

            The good ones

      2. Duh

        You got it

      3. E

        Got him!

    2. S

Are you for real? Why whine about something if you know from previous experience with other characters shows not being what YOU want?

Kind of seems like you just want to whine online for a bit of attention. Sad, as I presume you’re a grown ass man as well…

      1. Jerk

And you’re clearly an immature little troll who likes to hear himself or in this case see himself talk. He’s entitled to have and share his opinion just like you or anyone else, difference is his doesn’t attack any one individual, yours does. So, really you’re the sad part here

        1. E

No he just attacks a whole group of people, so much better

    3. Ker

The MCU is only doing what each different comic writer does, bring their own slant to the comic and characters, even retconning previous runs. You clearly haven’t read comics that long.

      1. ATN

This response is spot on. Further discussion is pointless. The poster of this comment wins.

        1. Duh

Shhh let the grown-ups talk, go get your blankly and take a nap

          1. Emerald

What’s so grown up about belittling other people?

      2. EXACTLY! I was gonna say almost the exact same thing verbatim.

        1. Duh

Well then, you’re just as simple and ignorant as they are

          1. Emerald

            🙄

      3. Jerk

And what you just said and pointed out is common knowledge of any noob comic reader so there’s really no proof you’ve read them any longer than he has in your statement. All you’re doing is attacking someone for the sake of attacking them, proving no point, and showing your own ignorance in the process.

        1. Look into the Mirror

You’re not funny or clever with your juvenile insults and ironic description of others’ posts that often describe yourself and any alt. accounts you’re poorly throwing shade from.

        2. Anti-Jerk

Using the word “noob” reveals everything we need to know about you.

    4. jack

you need to remember that they have on several occasions said, especially in the beginning which is

“they are NOT doing comic book movies, they are doing comics BASED on comics” which means they can do what the f they want. and we all know they arent doing the movies for comic fans, they are doing it for MCU fans. there is a difference even if BOTH sides watch

strange that some just cant accept what you just said.
but i am sure that you have NOTHING against the nolan verse who done just that. but i am sure you ll have an excuse and that nolans views are betters than marvels.

      SMH

      1. Duh

Do you think before you let that much stupidity spew out of your garbage hole? That’s your mouth in case you didn’t catch that. “SMH”

        1. SS

This person has no self esteem which is weird because I suspect you’re the type of person who jerks off in front of the mirror. You’re not remotely clever or funny, but by all means reply to everyone who disagrees because you’re NOT obviously insecure…

          1. Gayo Maratan

I never thought of jerking off in front of a mirror, but I’m gonna try it now

    5. belreal

lol nah you can just stay away. they don’t need you anyway. but in the meantime keep on crying and moaning about something you seems like you know very little of, very useful input.

      1. Jerk

And pray tell in your response shows you have anymore knowledge about the subject than he does? Very NOT useful input, thanks for the waste of time.

    6. Richie

Marvel studios are incharge of the production process and how the stories are show, not Disney.

That’s why they have their own studio. Yes Disney owns them, but they aren’t the ones in charge.

Most of the people working on these story lines also work for the comic arm of the company in some capacity.

Lastly, Marvel and DC have always remained fluid with their character creation. There are multiple versions of each character.

That’s why the Multiverse exists and why on several occasions, it’s been destroyed and started again.

The fact you didn’t know that, shows that you’re ignorant in regards to Marvels printed media.

The book is often better than the Movie, but a comic is a not a book and the characters change based on each artists/writers interpretation of that character.

      1. Duh

Wow, and you win the stupid comment of the thread award. Never have I seen so much naive ignorance in one spot. You think Disney doesn’t pull ranks on Marvel studios when and where it wants to? Yeah ok… Disney’s not in charge lol you’re funny guy. Oh and thanks for restating the obvious that every other simpleton has already pointed out before you, way to sound like a broken record. Oh and the book is better than the movie? That’s strictly an opinion, not fact. Really? Comics aren’t books huh? Then by all means pray tell… what are they? “A written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.” That’s the definition of a book, sure sounds like a comic BOOK fits that description ehh buddy? Do the world a favor and don’t ever talk again.

        1. Gayo Maratan

No dude, it was in the contract. Marvel Studios retained creative control.

    7. AdrielFisher

Honestly, your comments are just generic whining. Is Disney the ‘big bad’ that’s ruining Marvel? No.

The fact that the MCU is separate and distinct from the comics has been well established before Disney ever got involved. Of course, as a major studio they are all about the bottom line, but I haven’t seen any sign that they restricted creative freedom for Marvel. In fact, it’s that very creative freedom that you hate!

Stop blaming the studio, it’s not like Fox or Sony have had a stellar track record of quality with Marvel movies! Really it’s just you don’t like the creative choices made, which is fine, just don’t watch.

      1. Jerk

And your comment is just generic garbage. When exactly was it “stated fact” that the MCU is separate and distinct from the comics? Especially from the get go? If this were true then why do the movies follow the comics so closely? Can we say you’re not very intelligent are you? Yeah we can… you’re right, Fox and Sony’s records for Marvel movies is pretty terrible and why is that? Oh that’s right cause they chose to BREAK AWAY from the comic source so badly, the movies ended up sucking! It took me Marvel reeling Sony back to the comic source with Spiderman to save that franchise. So, sounds like this guy that all you little Disney fan boys are getting your precious feelings hurt over knows a little more what he’s talking about than any of you simpletons do. He said he’d stop watching, so your little suggestion there at the end was moot. Good lord, just don’t ever speak again.

        1. Gorbo

          Are you autistic?

        2. Gayo Maratan

You are so unaware of how unaware you are. There are like 186,282 Marvel universes written about, and infinitely many more. The MCU universe is universe 199999.

      2. Gayo Maratan

Besides the fact that Marvel Studios retained creative control as part of their contract. Which is why most of the productions are still good.

    8. Done

Feel the same way, it’s kinda sad how Disney is butchering and destroying so many legacies of so many people’s childhoods.

    9. Emerald

      Bye, Felisha

  4. Anon

I can’t believe ITM popped off this hard on a completely wrong take.

The fact that Mark and Steven are in the same room at the same time and can see and touch eachother in completeness implies the mental ward isn’t real.

And the end they bump into the god Taweret, not ammet.

Taweret is a god of protection.
Thus, It is possible, and perhaps likely that the post-doubletap section of the show takes place inside the mind of Mark/Steven.

If this is the case episode 5 will see them being her avatar for a moment, which will restore healing factor and allow him to “revive” which is something Taweret is known for.

    1. Max

Hey, good theory on what’s to come next in the series. What you said makes more sense than the article, maybe you should write for them lol.

  5. jacklyn

what was your point to this ???

to much text and NO point.

btw: episode 4 was the slowest one so far. shows that you need episode 5 … if a episode was wasted, its number 4. we seen it it many tv shows, regular shows that last for 22 episodes, has at least 1-2 episode that we do NOT need to see.

    1. Joe

I agree with jacklyn. The article completely strays from its point the point before halfway through.

    2. Max

Calm down sheesh, it’s called pacing, ever heard of it? Kinda like a breakdown in a song? Chill it’ll be OK.

    3. Jerk

Now was that necessary? No, go learn some manners and etiquette before you comment such garbage.

    4. Emerald

This episode want just filter, which you seem to think. It was setup for what’s to come, and also had some key questions/info that will be clearer after you see the remaining episodes. Don’t be so hasty. 😁

  6. Richard Conway

Why does the title of this article say “Marvel Ditches Moon Knight” and not mention anything about that? Doesn’t look ditched to me with it still releasing episodes…

    1. Ducky

Still releasing? Try googling confidently incorrect, because that’s you.

  7. I love the Moon Knight comics and was hoping this show would be a good take on the character. I was soooo wrong. I watched a few episodes and couldn’t find any redeeming qualities. I know that it’s just my opinion but I’m willing to bet others feel the same way. I won’t be watching any more episodes. I think I’m done with this character. For now at least. The show makes him a very wicked out dude. If I want wicked out I’ll follow president Dumpster Fire.

    1. Bryce

      LOL
Literally, NOBODY CARES, Steve!! If the show does good on Disney+, the it’s considered a hit. Even without poor little you.
And if it DOESNT, no big loss. I however, just enjoy it as a CASUAL viewer who doesn’t scrutinize every single move the character makes. And the MAJORITY of viewers ARENT versed in the “comics version” like a bible. If you want to have it go step by step faithful to its “origins”, just read the comics. Let everyone else just HAVE a little FUN.

      1. Jerk

Hey guess what Bryce? LITERALLY NO ONE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY EITHER! Just to prove my point, I didn’t even read your comment past your stupid jerk of an opening sentence! See how that works? You on the other hand obviously cared enough to read Steve’s comment so who’s the winner here… Steve and who’s the loser? You

        1. .

Lol you realize there’s a special place in hell for people like you, right? If there’s any hell that is. Aaanyway.

      2. Gayo Maratan

Yeah, cuz why would they try to tailor to comic book fans when making cinema based on comic books?

        Numbskull.

        1. Emerald

I think they are probably trying to make them “accessible” for noon-comic readers while also having surprises for the comics fans. Whatever will make them money. 😉

    2. Emerald

You are going to have to narrow down who you mean by “president Dumpster Fire”.

It’s kind of a bummer you’re not able to enjoy the show. I look forward to all of these partially because I can’t get into comic books for whatever reason. I want sure what to make of this entirely new character being introduced, and I want sure about it after the first episode, but I’m really liking it. The article is weird though, right? It doesn’t say anything related to the title. LoL

  8. Richie

What Steven was locked in is called a Sarcophagus. You place the body in the Sarcophagus and then you place it in a Tomb and seal the entrance.

It worries me that for someone writing an article about a series based on Ancient Egyption History, you couldn’t get that one key detail right.

And let’s not forget that the word Sarcophagus is mentioned several times by Steven through episode four, so I wonder if you were really paying attention.

    1. Gayo Maratan

      I second that emotion.

  9. Tim

I can’t believe I even read this article. Or even half of it…what a waste of time.

  10. Ducky

What do you mean where it goes? They only gave it 6 episodes. They knew what they were doing.

  11. Gayo Maratan

I’m not understanding exactly what the change is. He’s just crazy, and not Moon Knight, but all the Deities are still there?

Moon Knight is, by far, my favorite production from phase 4. I was hoping to see more of his superhero alter ego, not less. We’ll have to see where this goes.
