Or better yet, don’t spend $180 dollars for sunglasses.

  2. June

    Sounds like a whiny brat

    1. Wait a minute. She bought the sunglasses at Disney.
She had them stolen at The Most expensive place on Disney property.
They couldn’t give her another pair.
      Come on !!!!

      1. Lexi

She bought the sunglasses from a third party doing business on Disney property. Disney nor the shop are responsible for items that are lost or stolen. This shouldn’t even be a story.

I totally agree with you she sounds like a whining person who her glasses were taken just by another pair of glasses did you even lock the locker.

  3. Terra

And first world problems. 🤦‍♀️ Also, if you don’t follow the rules, don’t complain.

This was most unfortunate. I have visited Disney spas and it was as advertised. The locker room is unsupervised and anyone could go through the lockers. There were a number of women checking in at the same time. If someone saw your glasses and were unscrupuless, there was nothing to stop them. Thus you are alerted not to bring valuables with you.

  5. Joa

She’s a YouTuber! It’s all about getting herself seen. And you should never go to a spa with good jewelry, sunglasses or valuables (cash/credit cards) etc.

They tell you not to bring valuables You should have felt safe but there are always people waiting for a chance to steal

So sad. Someone’s greed ruined her wonderful day. So sorry to hear this.

This site left out the word tragedy. Someone call the wahhmbulance!

Sorry about your glasses. We were robbed at the Contemporary hotel there back in the 70’s. My dad had left his travelers checks hidden in a certain place in the room and they were stolen!! We think it was by someone who worked there. They also hit several other rooms there too. I always have my money on me wherever I go when I travel.

Why doesn’t the spa sippy locks for the lockers while you are there? I mean you check in you get a lock with a key that pins on when you leave lock gets returned. Problem solved.

    1. Catherine

They are never totally secure, because guests lose their own keys and forget which locker is theirs all of the time, and the staff must have master keys to open the lockers that guests lock themselves out of. Also, guests leave their keys, and everything else, in their robe pockets and throw them in the hampers with all of the other identical robes. The robes then go to laundry and it is very difficult to find the valuables then. The batteries die on the digital ones like Digilock, and people forget their codes and which locker is theirs, so the same applies. Thus, they are never really secure. Be responsible and follow the rules made for your safety and security. Thank you so much, and have a wonderful day!

I had an Adidas drawstring bag, worth about $20, which contained my glucometer, Childs inhaler and a toddler change of clothes in it, stolen off of a parked stroller near the Pirate ride in Magic Kingdom several years ago. The price of Disney doesn’t keep all the riffraff out, unfortunately.

    1. Nicole

So poor people are more likely to steal? You know since they are the ones less likely to afford Disney by your logic 🙄

    2. Laura

Anyone can steal. Rich people, poor people, people in-between. Might I suggest you look up the definition of racketeer, tax fraud, and other similar words.

  11. Rox

So she is whiny and shouldn’t have such expensive sunglasses? Who decides how expensive is too expensive and when someone who is robbed has a right to be upset? No. She was robbed. The blame is on the thief, not the victim.

  12. Marianne

She wasn’t “robbed” No one took those glasses by force. (Which is what a robbery is) the glasses were stolen. No locks or anyway to secure your belongings at the spa… WTG Disney.

    1. Catherine

See above. I have been running spas for years and it is extremely challenging. There is no way to 100% secure them when there are master keys, and you cannot have cameras in locker rooms. Leave valuables in your car or hotel room.

  13. Kaz

Already turned against the over-priced and overly political Disney. This situation just confirms my decision to steer clear of this once great operation.

    1. Helene Lewis

      I agree. Corporate Greed Machine

  14. Andrew

Unfortunately theft at Disney is all to common. I got pick pocketed in the magic kingdom in December 2021 during the fireworks. According to Disney Staff and Vendors pick pockets visit the parks in groups and use fake credit cards to get in.

  15. Ky

Wow, she was ridiculous. Yeah if you don’t want your expensive sht stolen, don’t leave it in public locker rooms. Feels obvious.

  16. The glasses were stolen by a disney employee. People wealthy enough to afford Disney dont steal used glasses.

Disney has security cameras everywhere and a massive security apparatus. The fact that Disney didn’t offer to provide the video shows their ongoing disregard for their customers.

The real crime is the shameful corrupting influences Disney includes in their movies to adulterate the minds of children. For example, promoting witchcraft and homosexuality. Walt must be rolling over in his grave.

The Grand Floridian spa, like so many others… does have lockers and those lockers have locks and the guests can choose their own combination for the locker they are using. If the locker gets broken into by the master key, it wipes out the memory of combination the guest used. This is pretty standard in a lot of spas. So sure they could technically open your locker but they would reveal that they have done so because when you come back and try to open it, the code you thought you used would no longer be valid.

And the fact they didn’t show the video is laughable. There are no cameras inside of a gender-specific changing room, which is where these lockers are at. If you want a boycott Disney boycott it but at least boycott it for a legitimate reason. This ain’t that.
