I feel like Peter Pan is an IP begging for an update, like a new story with Peter, Tink and the Lost Boys, where it stayis in Neverland and expands on the dominion, tying in the Tinkerbell movie worlds into it. At Disney Sea in Japan, they are making a new Peter Pan ride, that seemingly is supposed to be like a Neverland version of Avatar flight of passage. A new Peter Pan and Tinkerbell story for the new generation, ignoring real world cultures and locations would fit well. Don’t change their original IP appearance, just tell a new story. (They might want to leave the Native Americans out this time around too).
I’d love to see a avatar style Peter Pan flight ride in the parks, even if they threw it in the UK pavillion at Epcot. But we all know that Disney Tokyo and Disney Sea get the best rides.
If the line is short it’s actually a pretty nice and interesting ride if you enjoy the story. If the story doesn’t interest you than neither will the ride, but it does have some pretty cool effects like “flying” over the city of London and through neverland.
Thanks for that, always wondered why. You would think that they would be the same as Haunted Mansion, but little ones may not stand in line for the Mansion. Longest line at MK is usually 7 dwarfs, but Peter Pan is always trying to be the longest. I have another theory why Peter Pan is long, the line que. Adults and children playing with shadows on the way. C’mon! My daughter shouts, “There’s a gap in the line!” 7 dwarfs has adults spinning barrels to see a picture on the ceiling. Really? Keep it moving.
What would have made your article better would have been to explain why the ride capacity is so low. It is the way the seating is designed. Each “ship” that the guests ride in has a single row of seating. You can fit 2 adults and 1 small child per ship. Got 2 adults and 2 kids? That will require 2 ships. Other rides like Alice in Wonderland or Snow White have multiple rows. In those rides that same family of four would ride together in the same vehicle. Perhaps because the ships in Peter Pan hang from a rail, the potential weight added by guests sitting in a 2nd row was considered too much.

This site has become total cli ck ba it garbage. It would SHOCK me that the ride holds less people than other rides?? Seriously, that’s all this says.

It wasn’t that shocking and certainly not worth using all caps for the word to try and get people to read the post.

In the 50 years I’ve been going to Disney parks, I’ve never been on that ride, I’m still not interested.
