Not sure that I would personally enjoy the experience. It’s a good thing for parents who would like for their kids to learn a trade of working in the industry with heavy equipment or just to let kids be kids and get to experience something they have found to be interesting. Hopefully the park has great insurance because you put someone or a child that didn’t know anything about machinery behind the work’s of equipment there are many many things that Could go wrong in so many aspects.
There is a park in NJ called Diggerland that has been open since 2014. It is actually a lot of fun, and you pay for an all-day pass, not just 2 hours. Which machines you can operate depends on your height. They have also turned some construction vehicles into rides, such as a merry-go-round.
On the first day, some kids were operating the equipment better than the seasoned veterans, so they’re reconfiguring the machines to be more challenging.

This looks like an interesting idea. I would have loved something like this as a child. I like that they stress safety.

I don’t know about the kids but I’m sure this 67 year old man would have a blast.

Same with this 67-year-old woman!! I’m a Tonka girl from way back (grew up with four brothers) and would love to try this! 😁
