These articles are funnier than most comedies these days… where do you guys come up with these doodies?

By all means, put your phone in a locker at the front of the park so you can run to the front everytime you need to check your Genie+. Maybe Disney should do what Universal does and put lockers at each ride.

Or you do what the vast majority of park goers do and take their valuables with them when they eat, go to the bathroom, or go on a ride, since most do not have a stroller. It’s very odd to think the only other option is to put your phone in a locker.

Sounds like quite the ‘tragedy’ 😉

      Please, not again.

Usually parks are really secure. Once my father left his bag in a restroom with all the cash he brought for the vacation. He went back to the bathroom, almost 2 hours later and there it was just s he left it. Untouch! He was very much relief. So sad learning that all that has changed.

I don’t even carry a wallet into the parks. I have a change purse with a lobster claw clip. It gets clipped to my belt loop and fits in my pocket. If something doesn’t fit in my pockets, it doesn’t go into the parks.

Seems like yesterday when you actually could leave stuff in a parked stroller and it would still be there when you got off the ride. And there weren’t fights, line cutting and foul language. People behaved like civilized humans out for a family fun vacation. They didnt act like thugs and animals. Then and now, Disney is the world in microcosm.

      Exactly. It is very sad.

All you can do it blame the person for thinking that its safe to leave things on or in strollers. It common sense when you live in a crooked world that your items will be stolen. If you dont know that by now I would like to know what fantasy world you have lived in all your life.

      Agree

Someone is surly out to get Disney every day I see negative stories about them.

  7. A day at WDW is robbery.

So true Mich, It feels like Disney is robbing you of your cash everyday in any which way they can.

Very true. Pay $15 for genie to jump the line then another $10 for the mine train on top of the fee to get in. Sad that WDW is ripping the everyday public with a family off

I blame the Canadian education system for such bad writing and ITM for hiring them. Maybe hire writers with skills and experience instead of their phenotype.

PSA: Don’t take your $2000 stroller to a theme park (they get stolen too). Don’t leave personal property in/on a stroller while on a ride. No, people don’t expect thieves to be rampant at Disney parks, but have some flipping common sense.

Are you kidding? People always stole our rented stroller at Disney. Once a trip if not more. It was a pain to get a replacement. Once the stroller was marked with a tie and it was stolen at Epcot. It didn’t take long to find the stroller with no family nametags. Yup and my tie was still there. Real simple. Dumped their crap out and put on the lawn and took my stroller back. Then put my kids in it and when we got to the stroller replacement place, we got a new name tag. Oh and this was 30 years ago.

While I understand that it is common got people to use robbery, burglary and theft interchangeably, they are actually very different. From what I can tell nobody at Disney was robbed and no burglary occured. It seems as though the occurrences we’re theft.

Every year Disney steals from me when I buy my annual pass and they then find yet another way to screw all of the APs. They should have a theft policy for that.

This article is a joke. Paying to leave your stuff in an extremely inconvenient, inaccessible location is not a solution. This website is extremely out of touch with the reality of why people need a stroller in the first place.

Stroller is to hold your child, stick belongings in a backpack or whatever and take that with you. It’s easy really. Took my little ones by myself when they were toddlers and never had a problem because I never left anything in the stroller.

“Usually, breaking the rules results in you getting kicked from the Park, but when t comes to criminal activities, you can rest assured you will be punished if you are caught.”

Yeah right… I worked Epcot security. Followed a guy with a stroller (no kids) around MouseGears for 15 minutes as he filled it along with filling his pockets. All sorts of merchandise. Reported it and was told not to approach.

After his “shopping spree” I followed him towards the front of the park, to the turnstiles, watched him pass the deputies who weren’t notified, and he walked out to his car then drove away.

The Investigator who was notified at the start arrived from his office 20 minutes later.
