Years ago, My husband lost a pair of sunglasses on The Pirates of the Caribbean ride. They told him to wait until the end of the day when they clean up and collect all the items that people lost or dropped while on the ride. That’s exactly what he did and they found them! They mailed them to our house and it was great. That’s the Disney Way!
    Thank you Disneyland!

Does no one EVER pay attention to all the warnings and instructions to secure all loose valuables before the ride starts or before even getting on them?? This will sound cruel but I’m glad they lost those ears as hopefully they now pay attention to the rules about securing loose items. After all it takes is someone who’s had something like this happen before they learn their lesson.

I’ve seen some many shoes, flip flops, glasses and other thing go “plop!” into the water below that ride. It’s funny to see people get off and only have one shoe on after the other one decided to take a literal flying leap.

Disney’s pretty good at replacing items of there’s “IF” it was a Disney product or purchase. The only thing is “IF” it was a Past or limited edition Disney item & if so, well kiss 💋 that item goodbye. Disney will more than likely replace it. It’s called “No strings attached.” I use to work for Disney in Anaheim California & that’s what we did when something a guest lost IN DISNEYLAND OR CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE we’d go to the closest store and fill out a ticket 🎫 and give it to one of the Cast Members and they’d give them another item of the same thing. It’s no sweat off of Disney’s brow. Someone on the bottom of the ride ended up getting some cute Minnie Ears & for FREEEEEEEEEE 🤣🤣🤣 They we’re probably like, “Hey look, it’s raining ☔️ FREE MINNIE EARS from Heaven.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
