How many more times should we try to persuade people to do something MORE?

(please comment below if you agree or disagree with my sentiments)

We cannot just sit here and complain; if we are to save Disney then we need to do SOMETHING about it. Our wallets are our greatest weapon against Disney’s current board, and it could allow a new breed of execs to come in and revitalize the company.

Unless you truly believe that Disney is a lost cause, I would urge you to withhold your money as long as is necessary (AND buy shares if you can) before a new CEO AND Chairman are elected. Then and ONLY then might we see a revitalization of the Walt Disney Company.

I want EVERYONE who sees this comment to ask themselves; is there anything that WE as customers could’ve done about this, or do you think corporate greed would ALWAYS find a way AROUND our money and our distaste, and around Walt’s legacy, and were we POWERLESS to save Walt’s dream? I want everyone to thing VERY hard about that…….

  3. Matthew

Because everyone who complains here knows FULL well that Chapek isn’t listening, so only MONEY and SHARES can talk. I would urge EVERYONE to buy a share in the Walt Disney Company if they can………………..and weaponize it against Chapek and the board

Frankly it’s borderline HYPOCRITCAL that we’re all complaining and witholding our money but NOT going further. It really is. We need to fight back.

  4. I love Disney

Disney didn’t come up with the Don’t Say Gay bill, and Disney didn’t pass it. Still, Disney apologized for it. Even then, Disney is being attacked for the bill.
This is the Piranha Attack Syndrome. There are people out there who use whatever excuse to attack a semi famous person or entity who is showing weakness. Apology doesn’t cut it. Promise to do better doesn’t cut it. Once they see blood, the piranhas will not stop until they destroy the person.
Disney has survived covid shutdowns. Let’s see if they can make it through the piranhas, who are tougher than covid to overcome.

But we still need to oust Bob Chapek.

I want you to answer this question honestly; are you a shareholde or not?

We just want our ” Happy Place” back!!! Why does Disney have to be involved in everyone’s sexual preferences? Why do we have to teach our children to be nice to certain groups of people? Be nice to everyone and move on! Stop making people choose sides on your agenda. Once you voice your opinion youre guaranteed to lose a certain group of customers. We just want to see the mouse. Disney is for children and adults alike to escape the real world for a little while. Stop bringing all this into the happiest place on earth. Bring back the magic, get rid of the politics and agendas and just be DISNEY again. There was no where else like it. Now it is just turning into a big fight like anywhere else you can go.
Disney, You want to be something special again?? Shut your mouth about picking a side and just be Disney. You never win by picking a side. You only create drama and you will always lose people with drama. I want my family to be able to visit Disney and have a wonderful experience filled with wonder and imagination. Not fighting and side choosing. No one wants someone else’s opinion shoved down their throats. Stay neutral and make magic happen. This is not a place that should be “woke”. It should just be what it used to be…Disney. That was always enough for those who truly loved it.

And what are YOU doing about it, Patricia?

      Boycott?
Buy sahres to vote against Chapek?

You just sitting hear and complaining is doing NOTHING at all!

How many more times do I have to say that; I’ve ALREADY made my opinion crystal clear at the top of the comment section

    2. Matthew

Frankly it’s borderline HYPOCRITCAL that we’re all complaining and witholding our money but NOT going further. It really is. We need to fight back before these comments become USELESS

    3. Hillary C

I got something i wouldn’t mind shoving down your throat.

    4. Ruth

Amen Patricia. I just sent an email saying the same to their “Social Responsibility” office. Walt is rolling over in his grave. Toss the politics, bring back the fun!!

  6. Matthew

I’ll keep saying it; people, WE NEED TO FIGHT against that man; all the talk on here isn’t going to fix anything.

I *sincerely* hope that I’m not the only one who believes we should fight, or WANTS to fight, because the lack of people promoting such drastic action against Disney is hypocritcal; wanting Disney to be better but doing NOTHING (I’m looking at you, Julian H.)

No one is going to buy shares to get Chapek out. That’s asinine. DIS is like 70% held by institutional entities. Do you think they give a F about our customer satisfaction? Spoiler alert….they don’t. He recently received something like 90% support in a proxy vote. Buy shares if you think DIS is going up…..not to take a stand against the epitome of 1st world problems.

People can either vote with their wallet or suck it up and deal with today’s WDW.

      1. Matthew Muir

        BUT BETTER FOR CUSTOMERS?

      2. Matthew

At least you, Hilary, are a realist unlike S1. I just hope they see the firestorm of angry comments of mine denouncing his genuinely worrisome ambitions. Why would ANYONE want to talk about turning Disney into a DICTATORSHIP in this CURRENT political climate?

      3. Hillary C

As someone who knows about trading irregularities…you know you are just being an internet jackass.

        1. Matthew

          Who is, me or S1?

        2. Matthew Muir

If it’s me you’re callling a jerk, than I apologize……I was just VERY, VERY scared about the prospect of Disney going too far the OTHER way and becoming SOOOOOOOOOOOOO mired in the mantra of ‘What would Walt do?’ that it ends up failing to stay creative

          I hope you understand

        3. Matthew Muir

Please tell me you’re not referring to me as a jerk because I don’t MEAN to be, Hilary

And I hope you at least agree with my sentiment that Disney can’t just be stuck in the 60s for the rest of its existence…..

  7. Lord Almighty

Stop pandering to LGBTQ whoever the F they are… who cares! Disney should be reminded that not just homosexuals visit the parks, apparently everyone else has been paying this whole time too.

  8. M

I have never seen Disney is such a train wreck. They are afraid of these Cancel Culture nut jobs and ignoring the real majority of customers.

    1. Matthew Muir

We need an IDEALIST CEO but not a dangerous PURIST like S1 in the comment section above. I’ve had to publicly shame him for ACTIVELY WANTING TO DESTROY SOME POST-WALT AREAS OF THE COMPANY THAT MOST PEOPLE LIKE.

I do apologize for sounding angry but I’m scared that Disney might not be able to find a decent balance between Walt’s culture and current culture

    2. Matt

Disney is perfectly fine, the parks need to be an inclusive space because there is so much hatred and racism happening in this world.

    3. Arys

Looks like you are storming the front of the gates if you get my drift.
