Umm we can hold off on the fans outcry. I am glad George sold to Disney. No the latest trilogy wasn’t the best but none of them will ever be ad good as the original 3. But the shows have been amazing. Galaxies edge is pretty cool. But we all knew this hotel was gon a suck and wasn’t for star wars fans for months now. So anyone screaming on Twitter is either living under a rock. Or this is a desperate attempt just to create an article that shouldn’t have been written. I chose the later that this just needs to be deleted.

Remember that gif meme of dancing boba Fett

Outcrying fans never understood Star Wars has dancing

What exactly are you crying about?? If you had read the article instead of just jumping to the comment section to start ranting you’d have seen that they share opinions from people on both sides of the fence.

Or actually ready c9mment thay I said nothing about this articles discussion of fan outcry. I thought this article was a waste of time and needs to.be deleted. Because it’s no news in any way

Exactly! People need to educate themselves before they give their opinion.

Get out there and write your own epic fantasy if you people can do so much better.

The D+ shows are definitely NOT amazing and it’s all summed up perfectly with the line “I dated a jawa”. If you dont understand that, you should not be commenting. They’re mediocre at BEST. Real fans… it’s over and it’s out of our control. It’s time to move on. Disney has messed this up epically and I’m so sick of all these people who drank the Kool Aid and think this junk is “amazing”. Get some standards.

      1. Really?

You mean you weren’t impressed with that little merchandise Muppet baby?

Angry Star Wars fans complaining about Disney “Ruining” Star Wars wishing George Lucas never sold LucasFilm, while conveniently forgetting that Lucas sold LucasFilm to Disney in the first place was because of those same angry Star Wars fans complaining that HE was “Ruining” Star Wars. Must be a day that ends in Y.

    1. Backcountry164

How exactly does this make sense to you?? Because none of those people were remotely excited to see the franchise go to Disney. Most of us anticipated from day one that things were just going to get even worse.

      1. Elwood

I admit I thought they might do it right. I’ve learned a lot the hard way since then and I’m a different person now. On the plus side, the prequel trilogy is far more tolerable now than it was before the last Jedi. Even the last Jedi is more tolerable than it was before that last piece off garbage.

George Lucas isn’t exempt from stupid or bad ideas either. Let’s not forget the Christmas special, Ewoks, and Jar Jar Binks.

      True

    Ah….$6000?????? Really? 😬😬🤑🤑

Fans cry when George Lucas made the prequels. Fans cry for George to come back after the new films…
When will “fans” realize that it’s not Star Wars they like but the 80’s and their childhoods?
the sooner they realize this, the sooner they can stop harassing Disney to make films “their” way. Maybe we can finally start making good Star Wars films.

I think once the price was out for the hotel experience, regular people wrote this one off. Good luck selling those rooms!

Love the name! Thundercleese, and The Brak Show, was awesome!

I’ll just say this once. Star Wars fans fall into several categories. The toxic ones (most toxic of any fan base, these folks attacked the actress of rose, jarjar and the directorof Solo to the point it was racistagainstthe actressfor rose, the actor for jar jar almost committedsuicideand the directorfor Solo had soem choice words for fans. This is also why we never got an Obi-Wanmovie like we originallywere supposed to and disney gave folks the finger to all fans on how things will be done from now on, all thanks to the toxic fans), the ones who only like the original trilogy, the ones who hated Lucas for making the prequels, the ones who hate the new trilogy and the ones who think because they are a fan it should be how they say it should be because if it’s not its automatic trash. Than you have the ones who hate Disney owning star wars. Finally you have the diehard fans who love the franchise flaws and all and just want more with the knowledge and acceptance you get what you get and can complain but know it’s not your call. As a fan of marvel, Stan Lee said it best when answering a question. Who wins, well, whoever the writer chooses wins, not the fans or reader. Ultimately everything is up to the writer, not you, not me.

I’ve seen these press preview stays and gotta say, yes the amount of detail is on par with the millennium Falcon smugglers run ride. The lounge is rather small. There’s more focus on the dining area. The acting is off on some and spot on on others. They did make tou feel like you were part of a movie or ahow in sowm segments by walking and interacting with one another regardless of folks around them or with cameras. The rooms are small for 4 or 5 people. The limited selection (pre selected) Food options isn’t really a good option, should be able to have something cooled for you or a more varied selection. There is too much going on as you saw and obviously you have several paths intertwined and some folks were rushing from one meeting to another. On the excursion to batuu it looks and felt rushed, like you really can enjoy the atmosphere. The dinner party with Gaya looked great, the finale looked great, but everything in-between was rushed, hectic and all over the place. It’s worth going and enjoying and it’s something new, but it’s not worth 4000 for 2 people. To make it that price, they need to add the exclusive lightsaber, a simple outfit and another thing they took away from the build (yes the lightsaber and simple outfit were part of the original plan as part of the price that included this and the build plan was to have everyone in the hotel feel a small jolt of tremor everytime the place went to hyperspace). Just getting a pin (the one to have on while in the park), wristband, food, show, room, ticket to the park is 2000 tops. Add in the other stuff back and ok 4000.

For me to go it’d have to be a very special occasion, because 2000 for one person isn’t worth it. A single person for 2 nights needs to come out to 1300 or 1400 total. The price is really the big issue.

I’m thinking maybe Disney is starting to pay or incentivize the more well known vloggers and reviewers for review on this one. It’s not like they haven’t done it before. The can only work so much magic if they are dead set on only using the new trilogy as a backdrop. Even the newer generation would rather see Boba Fett, Luke, heck even Darth Maul more that than they would this polished “new” Star Wars characters and universe.

You do the funky Taun Taun and turn yourself around, that’s what the death of Star Wars is all about

We are WELL beyond that at this point. It’s almost been 10 years. Jesus Christ.
