Whoever did frozen and it’s sequel did not bother to read history of that time period.
Example: Hans being the bad guy makes no sense because during that time there were laws that prevented men marrying queens to get powers. These laws have existed for over 200 years to protect queens.
It is not like commoners who if a women married her things and such would become their husbands.
And yes even if there was no heir Hans would still have not gotten the throne. Either the council would have taken it, heck even the duke had more right to it than Hans did, even if by some miracle (which there was non) Hans got it it would have been confiscated by one of his brothers.
And yes also the lie of marriage is not true as for a marriage to be official they needed a priest and a witness.
In all honesty Disney just used Hans as a scapegoat so Elsa and Anna would not get in trouble for their actions.
The same thing goes for frozen 2. If they had read history the setting they put up is also all wrong.
During that time there was a lot of famine, so much so people were leaving Norway by the thousands. The few people who stayed were people who were attached to their homes, but still it was a very miserable time.
So the setting they made of people going to arendelle and having a harvest festival (Norway never had such a thing) is not correct.
In fact another example is pumpkins in the frozen sequel movie…. Pumpkins were not introduced to Norway till the 1900’s and even if by some miracle they did made it there earlier they would not have grown due to the extreme cold going on during that time.
And the whole water memory, sorry but that “science” (I use the term loosely) has been disproven so many times it’s not funny. (It’s worse when you think that Disney pretty much is using a snake oil/fake medicine and presenting it as “fact” when it’s not only not true, but such things have actually killed people….. and has been used as the equivalent of “essential oils cure autism”)
(Also had they pay attention to the first story they proved how easy it was to change memories (which is accurate as like I said water has no memory… even if it did Dory would have had a better memory retention than water as it changes constantly and rapidly (faster than a second)… so if you take that into account how do we know the spirits did not change the memories to cause trouble or worse?)
And also the spirits…. Anybody in Norway will tell you they all avoid spirits like one would avoid the plague, even the sami… for a simple reason.
Spirits over there either kill you or curse you then kill you.
So their not only not friendly, they are things nobody in their right mind would mess with…. for obvious reason.
So ya, sometimes I wish Disney would invest more time in research cause when you apply real facts (which kids find out eventually….. and right now it’s more faster than before because of the use of internet) their stories not only crumble but when the reality is exposed the stories can turn dark and sour really fast.
Y’all do too much now a days… Stop stealing kids little enjoyment with grown people stuff..omg these only watch for the fun and cartoon about things leave the cartoons alone and stay on grown people stuff o m.g!!
