Here, here! I thought I was the only one that missed Dreamfinder. I miss everything about the original attraction when the upstairs was all part of the playground…the rainbow tunnel, taking the glass elevator. It’s just a shadow of what it once was.

This iteration was bad from day one in comparison.
I know many people lament change, but the original really captured the magic of Epcot. The current version ruined my trust that Disney will just “get it right”. Dang it I miss the rainbow tunnel and the ride that ACTUALLY sparked my imagination as a kid!
Figment was always one of my favorite rides. 2 years ago it was getting sad, I cant imagine how this has happened. Fix it, I’m sure there are many kids who would love Figment.
Loved the original Figment & Dreamfinder ride!!! Always left the ride with the song stuck in my head. It was a popular ride back then with a line of people waiting to get on, now you go in the door and get right on the ride no waiting. That should be enough to tell the Disney people they screwed up changing the ride.🙄
The original ride with Dreamfinder was the best of the 3. The second one, we spent most of the time in the dark left to imagine something. It scared the kids. Third one is annoying. Bring back the original. There is a reason that this attraction is a walk on.
The “original” ride is why Figment is so well loved and has so many followers <3 He deserves an attraction as special as he is! C'mon Disney – you can do so much better! Let the younger generation fall in love with Figment the way we did!!!
The original Figment and Dreamfinder ride is by far the best. When they decided to change it and remove Dreamfinder except for a name on a door, that second version was horrible. The third version at least brought back Figment in a better form than the second. I think they should bring back the original ride for this next generation to enjoy just like I grew up with. The meet and greet with Dreamfinder and Figment was awesome too! And all the interactive activities upstairs were fabulous! There was always a huge line to get in then. That would be awesome to bring it back and have that again.
Hate to say it but it’s typically a sign they are planning to remove the ride. Why spend money on it when its going away. I’m sure they are only keeping it open since the park is lacking attractions. Once the new ones are open I sadly see this one going away.
I loved the original ride and fell in love with Figment too, back in the 80s when I first rode the ride. So sad to see the demise of a once great attraction.

I rode it two weeks ago and twice it stopped so that half the cars couldn’t see what was going on. I really miss the original ride.
