Disney lacks proper perspective. They put all the time and energy into the fake Star Wars cruise, and it didn’t pay off. It’s only booked for March. As a result, EPCOT was neglected as well. Years of looking at the Moana dirt pile with excessive walking around future world barriers. Personally, I believe they should have focused on the parks not the fake cruise. No thrill rides for the anniversary. Only new attraction, Remy.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if cheapskate Chapek decided that delaying new attractions can be a profit win. By staggering their completion, he can raise ticket prices and lightening lame each time they open. He has already shown he could care less about the 50th anniversary or Walt’s legacy for that matter.
