Wow… just wow… what a bunch of…
The “spin” is dizzying. When they first announced the removal of Magical Express, they tried to play it off as if “people have so many options now” they’d let people choose. We all knew it was to “save money” that they cut the service… that was damn clear…
I can’t believe I am even a little bit surprised that it turned into a paid service by Disney… this is ridiculous.
the transportation to and from airport was a deal maker for disney. guests liked the convenience and it kept them on the property hence additional revenue. to remove was a poor business move
What a bummer that they removed the bus. We always loved it because it felt like being whisked away magically to the beginning of the best vacation ever. Guess we’ll just Uber to our hotel now.
Disney just keeps making us pay more as they give us less and less, and try to convince us they are giving us such a great deal! Nope! It is not about making magic for families anymore. They treat their employees like crap, they treat their customers like crap, and the fat cats at the top are just making millions and buying mansions! Enough is Enough!
I was there November 16 . The express was still running and was terrible . The line was the entire length of the airport . Ended up Uber , 35.00 for 2 from airport to port orleans . The hotel was a cluster mess . Half the stuff was unplugged . Fridge coffee machines . Am seriously considering never going again . Started with pay to park at on site hotels . Now the express . What’s next ? Buy your own toilet paper ? Pay toilets at the park ?
It all started with Chaplin the new person in charge I thought they had a petition to get rid of him 😳 We pay for everything now everything is extra 😱 I loved Disney we always went as a family and friends it was magical not anymore 😞😞😞😞
Disney can shove it. If I have to pay for transportation, I’ll rent a car, stay OFF property for a cheaper price, eat dinner OFF property for a cheaper price. Is Mickey Mouse REALLY running Disney now?
Disney giveth and Disney taketh away. Blessed be the greed of Disney. After all of the greed and take a ways from the “Industry leader.” I will no longer go to Disney. Why should I? High cost of resorts, high cost to park at the resorts, wait in line for an hour for a 90 second ride, high cost of smaller portion foods. I would love to stay there. But, it is just not worth is.
I have a handicapped son in a wheelchair and depended on the magical express to get to and from Disney. Not all taxi services have a wheelchair accessible vehicles. Very disappointed. Been trying to get to Disney since 2020. Had to cancel 2 years because of Covid. Was HOPING to go this year but now here another added expense 😔
Funny but Magical Express was not complimentary….the cost was built into the vacation prices. And now that they did away with it (without lowering of prices) they now charge more for transportation. The only thing “complimentary” from Disney without it being charged is a glass of water from the stands in the parks
Where’s the board of directors in all this.? Chapeks afraid of his own shadow. All he knows is if he raise prices he’ll make more money and not upset the Board of Directors. That’s no company president. That’s a little greedy wimp. TheBOD needs to get rid of him.
What are the price breakdown of these vehicles? My family went yearly and we stayed at boardwalk inn..last time nov 2021..it was a disaster..the room was crummy..hardly got on anything the lines were way to long..now this which we knew…well cruises here we come !
Signing a petition is not going to change a thing even if you collect a million signatures. Chapek answers to a board of directors not the unwashed public.
Charging more for things yet giving less. The price should have been lowered since they took away the bus, but it wasn’t, price is the same even more, and now you pay even more, and paying extra even again to ride rides on top of the entry fee, yet it doesn’t even work. Disney has LOST any magic it held when it hired Bob Chapek. Time to find other sources of entertainment. Such a shame, we loved Disney. Walt would turn over in his grave if he could. :'(
First and foremost, very disappointed in the cancellation of Disney Express. That service set the tone for a nice vacation. That said, like everything else, they chip away at the guest services till we ante up.
Vacationers need options to come in, so this is seen as a viable one.
I hate losing Magical Express. It was a short-sighted decision by Disney, and offering individual rides is crazy. First, if the new transportation service is used, it will add to the traffic between the airport and Disney. Congestion on the roads is already ridiculous and this will just be more hassles. Second, Disney always portrays themselves as caring about the environment (paper straws, anyone?). With a fleet of large vehicles running constantly between the airport and the resorts, the carbon spewed into the atmosphere will increase. Third, I agree with the whole boycott idea. I remember what Disney World used to be like and I want to keep those happy memories. Going now, with the crowds, and the fights, and the costs, is just not a magical experience. This is particularly upsetting for me because there is nothing I would like more than to take my 3 year old granddaughter to Disney like I took my kids at that age.
It’s one thing to just remove the free service of transportation to and from. But to then add an up Hargett for the same service is INSULTING.
Once again Disney replaces a free service with a premium one instead.
Fastpasses anyone? They javent even let that knife to the gut heal and hear we go again already.

I think that if you are paying to stay in one of their resorts, they should NOT also charge you to park. GREEDY they are, Magical, not so much. :'(
