I am vaccinated. I chose to take the risks involved and chose to get treatment. I believe that many who object to mandates are asserting some aspect of the following:

All people, organizations, groups, institutions, government instruments and government personnel should respect the rights of rational, self-responsible, self-directed individuals to direct all aspects of their own medial treatments and care. Individuals should to not be compelled or coerced to undergo medical treatment or have any substance ingested or injected into their body against their will, or while lacking appropriate knowledge and understanding, or under under duress or threat of:
-violence
    -verbal attack
-arrest or detention
    -fines or administrative action
-loss of employment
-homelessness
-starvation
-loss of education
-alienation from friends and/or loved ones
-exclusion from any aspect of society
-any threat whatsoever not otherwise stated here

Such persons should not be subject to any of the above circumstances or any punitive actions for stating their belief in and support of these rights.

Such persons may only be compelled if it is proven, not simply postulated, that a lack of treatment is a clear, current, actual and present hazard to others, not a derivative, possible or potential hazard.

It is up to everyone to decide if this is reasonable and true.

You out it ao much better than I ever could.

And honestly, we are through the peak of this and mow is when they are deciding to proceed? Makes no sense.

Very well put Victor nazarian I am vaccinated it was my choice we have many NHS workers who do not want the vaccine and it is totally up to them, I had vaccine as they said sooner everyone gets jabbed we can go but to normal life! Well that was a big fat lie

    3. DisneyMom

      Exactly this! Well said!

Companies forcing this will pay a big price in the end as the truth of the contents of these shots comes out. Lawsuits will abound. This is entirely unconstitutional. Wake up people.

    4. Mike

There are no risks to the vaccines. The risk is NOT getting them.

    5. CJA

Have you had anyone you love die from being infected by a non-vaccinated person? Until you do, I cannot agree with your well written but flawed assessment – there are, unfortunately, many unreasonable people out there making decisions for the health of me and mine by not following science but fear and politics.

I guess they are going to lose even MORE cast members if a mandate goes into effect, which means they will have to cut back on more things at the Disney parks.

Personally, I won’t work for a company that mandates experimental medical treatments. But each person has to decide for themselves.

    1. Mike

Except for the fact that the vaccines are NOT experimental. Even Drumpf got them while he was still in the white house. Did you complain to mommy when you got your vaccine for kindergarten?

  3. DisneyMom

Where there is a risk there should also be a choice.

We had a second trip scheduled for next month but after what we saw in December we cancelled. The magic is lacking. The vaccine mandate will only lead to more cast members getting fired.

We will find somewhere else to go. Disney isn’t currently worth the cost and I won’t support businesses who refuse to compromise when it comes to this vaccine.

Get a National Park passport book and visit the National Park system. You will be surprised how many parks there are, many unknown. And you can get a stamp in your passport at every location..for free.

    2. Mike

What about the other people YOU put at risk? They didn’t get a choice.

    3. CJA

And I would have cancelled my plans for February if they hadn’t.

    4. Lanie

If not getting the vaccine only put you at risk I would agree. However it does not. If puts all those around you at risk. By this argument you are taking the choice away from other by not getting the vaccine. Compromising is having medical and religious exceptions. You don’t want compromise you want them to do what you want only.

As for losing cast members that’s what they said would happen when they made the vaccine mandatory for cops in New York. They predicted 10,000 quitting/being fired. The number ended up being 34.

This makes me so angry and sad! As someone who chose NOT to get this experimental, un-approved shot with only 1 year of edited scientific data, I will not support Disneyland or any other company that demands their employees and/or customers to show proof of their shot status! I already had covid, still recovering almost a year later. There is absolutely no scientific backed evidence why I or anyone else who recovered from the virus should get this shot. And even for those who have not gotten covid, should not be forced to get it either! If they have gone this long without getting the virus, then let them be!

    1. CJA

This vaccine has been worked on for seventeen years, so it’s hardly new or experimental. When SARS first came out, the CDC was smart enough to realize that another virus would probably come up and began working on a vaccination. The red tape was cut by Trump and thus Project Warp Speed was instituted. If those years of prior work and testing had not occurred, we would certainly been in worse shape.

  5. SG

I wish DeSantis would do this, Florida would be in such better shape

    1. Ed

Move to a blue state moron.

      1. CJA

        That’s mature.

  6. Jarvis

Do what we say or get experimental injections. Heil Disney.

What a lovely place that cares about health Disney has become.
