I’ve watched The Goldbergs since it started and over the last couple years it is the ONLY regular TV series I watch.
Jeff Garlin’s character is a main part of the show so I’m sorry to hear this.
While I get it, I also think sometimes there is an over-reaction to it as well and it can be detrimental to the show.
Just look what happened when Disney fired John Lassiter of Pixar and the creative head of Imagineering – Both divisions went down hill after that (the Pixar movies are just not the same, and after seeing how great CarsLand was Imagineering without Lassiter has just fallen down).
But that being said… The Goldbergs has pretty much run out of stories in general I think and it looked lie this was going to be the final year anyway….

People need to stop over-reacting to jokes and such. People have become so sensitive to everything that is said nowadays that even saying “the sky is blue” will “offend” someone.

I would like to know exactly what the jokes were. People can be really stupid. People are being offended by an off colored joke. The end result is that they just put a lot of people out of work.

the guy walks around in tightie whities in many episodes. I’d probably joke around, too, if I had to do that. People are being whiny little babies to what is probably nothing.

I love The Goldbergs. I have no comment about the allegations since we have no idea what he said. I agree with the previous comment that when you walk around with whitey tighties on set you probably have to joke around to ease the tension. I hate to generalize that the people who heard him were just being over-sensitive since we really have no idea what was said. Let us hear more details. Why is everything always so secretive?

Always interesting to watch the commentors brush off sexual harassment reports.
