Disney Cave 0f Wonders (@Cave0fWonders)
This makes Chapek’s skin crawl. He sees the prices the Disney fans (who he likes to gouge) are paying on eBay, and he’s thinking why aren’t we charging that price at the parks. He’s already charging over $100 for sweatshirts at Disneyland, and $1,000 for 50th ears at WDW. You watch, he’s just getting started. I’m sure he’s overwhelmed with joy over the success of his latest – the $18 per ride for Lightning Lane that’s actually designed to not only further gouge guests, it’s also to drive up wait times to create a false demand, and therefore getting the poor parkgoers to shell out the $18 to avoid the wait.
