  1. I was very disappointed in the new Christmas party at Magic Kingdom. Passholders had to pay an additional park entrance fee instead of a smaller amount as in the past. There was no special event merchandise available and the entire event was underwhelming. We definitely did NOT feel that it was worth the price paid even with the 10% discount.

Only 7? LOL. What about no parade at MK, new EPCOT show is horrendous, both new nighttime shows have no ‘feels’, Disney Springs only open until 11pm still, parking trams not operating (except last couple weeks but only at MK), no Park to Disney Springs after 4pm bus service, fireworks obviously reduced in cost -not as grand, slow slow slow slow pace of construcfion mostly at EPCOT (what takes Disney 3 years to build takes Iniversal 1 year), overall poor hotel room qualoty – pay $800 a night to stay in a Holiday Inn quality hotel, etc.

I agree the Christmas party was very disappointing especially for the price we paid. The parade was not worth it nor were the treats. The time was to late for young children. Was disappointed in the lack of merchandise. We were upset with hotel , and the food. We come 2 to 3 times a year and we were very let down on this event. We will not do Christmas at Disney again.

  4. I am sad to say there is not one thing that Disney has changed in the last year and a half that was for the better, most of which were noted in the above comments. My family or just my wife and I would make 2-3 trips a year since 2004 with both of us having annual passes at the time in which we did not renew when they expired, we traveled from Maryland mostly by air but with rental cars doubling or more in price and air travel a little iffy during covid, we decided to drive on our last trip in February of 2021, what a total disappointment we have to decided with the magic we loved almost gone and taking in to consideration the cost factor Disney has become a cherished memory which i am sorry to say with the new leadership making these terrible changes one after another we will not be coming back, our hard earned money is too important to be spent on an inferior product. I also would like to thank the the staff at Inside The Magic for keeping me informed, keep up the good work.

For the money I we spent sending kids, grandkids, was definitely not worth it at all.Paid more money for less services, top Disney management needs to worry more about kids instead of there bottom line.

My first WDW visit was for high school graduation, followed by a honeymoon, anniversary trips, and years of taking children as they grew up and even into adulthood. We were fortunate to attend the 25th celebration in 1996, and still love the cake decorations!

Unfortunately, it seems that taking grandchildren to WDW is not in the cards. The magic is lost, the costs are astronomical, and the attitudes of management are all about profit – not the smiles and memories of guests. The last visit was a glorious time at Christmas 2009 for which I am very thankful (paired with a Disney cruise as well). At least there is now access to streaming and old park YouTube videos – and all the many pictures and videos personally taken over the years – to generate all those warm feelings., because I do not anticipate returning under the current circumstances. Very sad °O°
