  1. Sad. Entitlement and unthankfulness leads to bad behavior. We also have bars everywhere at WDW now, which can also lead to bad behavior. Covid nanny state isn’t helping either.

You never go brass to mouth. 🎺

I’m so tired of the “Because of high ticket prices” and “all the new upticks” comments! This is not why people are acting the way they are, it’s our society in general. If the prices are too high and you don’t like all the extra charges (which btw you don’t have to buy) then stay home. But don’t spoil it for true Disney lovers!

I also think the accessibility of alcohol is leading to bad behaviour. I once watched two ‘gentlemen’ come to blows to see which one would empty his tray into the trash first – even though there were two receptacles!

I don’t speak Karen, but from what I could make out, it sounds like it was over a guest pushing a kid in line.
Sorry if that cuts out the next dozen comments about mask mandates or Genie+ prices.

    1. That’s crazy. Who gets into a fist fight over a kid getting pushed in line? That happens throughout the parks. People aren’t always looking down. During the height of covid, a foreign family behind us in the Buzz Lightyear line at MK was not doing the social distancing thing. They were pushing up against our bodies and their children were standing right next to me (as if they were my own). Their masks were only up if a cast member said something to them. I was afraid to say anything but I did. They were most agreeable. They backed off and never crowded us again in line.

This is what happens when white trash and entitlement collide.

Unfortunately #WDW has never maintained a high bar for behavior of people so called guests. When there’s a temper tantrum, the guest is compensated. I’m a former Character. One of the things in our training we were told, “when you are going to communicate with an unhappy guesrt, and it’s about a child, have a Plush with you, and give it to the child at the beginning of the communication”.. Personally I see that as a form of manipulation. If a Parent did have a legitimate concern, the Plush tempers the Parent from fully asserting that concern. Sadly the people that are jerks that go to WDW, know that they will get rewarded by WDW, when they do act, like the jerks that they are. The extreme of that is, people breaking out in fist fights, that negativity affects the Children in the visual area that are exposed to it. Clearly if WDW genuinely did care about Children, WDW would stop giving hush up compensation to the grownups that bring their rude and I’ll bred behaviors to the Property. I’m including those that are guests of well off financial means.

Take it from someone who has been in the parks HUNDREDS of times. I’ve seen several fights over the years and several close calls. I can tell you that EVERY fight that I have seen involved a black man attacking his black wife/girlfriend. Every single one.

      1. Brit

        Racist much htk

      2. K

Nobody is black in the clip above. Stupidity comes in all races. People are just rude and entitled.

      3. Melanie

HTK – your blatant racism is as shocking as the video. Educate yourself, please.

We were in line for Ratatouille this afternoon, behind an extended family of Karens. The four men and a boy were properly masked, but the four women and 5 girls all wore their masks below their chins, until near a cast member.

    1. UberChemist

There are plenty of people like you and the reason I’m surprised more fights like this don’t break out.

    2. Mack

I was there in October and while most wore their mask correctly there was always the idiot who didn’t. And the Cast Members didn’t hesitate to tell them either.

  5. John Smythe

So glad I don’t work there anymore, it’s a racket. Mostly how much you have to pay to do anything anymore. Next you’ll need to buy a special pass to use the bathroom, lol. 🙁

    1. David Chinery

It is long past time for Disney to “take out the trash”!! And for the trash to become aware they are the trash!

  6. why wernt these people escorted out of the park?

    1. Anti Dis

Because Disney wants to make money no matter what

  7. Anonymous

What happens when white trailer trash has come to the happiest place on earth. And when things don’t go their way, they only do the thing they know best which is fight and dump their mouths out.

Something has definitely changed with Disney .never has an altercation gone on that long(and so many of them) before cast members stepping in .this is so disturbing .

The behavior HERE and the nastiness of some of the comments actually explains a lot about who is perpetrating these things and what is going on not only in the parks but the country. A small group of very nasty, horrible, brainwashed people attempting to ruin everything and anything remotely enjoyable to and for the masses. Sad that so many allow it. Social ostrication works but only if people agree on what is acceptable behavior and since the minority don’t have morals, values or ethics any longer I doubt a concensus will be reached.

    2. Pete

Simple, Disney has gone from concern for the guests to concern about their image, especially in social media. They get a lot of “numbers” out of their social media system. And numbers that reflect good on Disney is what Chapek has been focusing on. Remember he was running the Parks and Merch group before he was CEO.
Bribe a family with a stuffed animal, they’re molified and the incident is now just a “win” in the incident counting reports.

  10. Jill

    I just returned from Disney
Nothing magical there except how fast your money disappears from your pocket! 20 bucks for a balloon really??
Long lines and the Genie-plus app didn’t work after spending the money for 1/2 the family.
I don’t endorse behavior like this however I can see how people get so frustrated and angry.

  11. I used to love going to WDW. The last time we went it was just too crowded and too many people who do not know how to relax and let things go. So many parents who demand participation trophies for their kids believe that their offspring should be first in line/front row and push, shove, and yell their way through. It is no longer fun and for the cost I can go anywhere else and be happier in one of our nations great national parks (there are 423)

  12. David unvericht

I’m sorry but the fact that we have to write an article over the stupidness stuff. I mean really so people fighting in line is news now really?

    1. ML

I agree with you. And that is another of our problems today…social media.

  13. Joe

Have to admit this is more fun then any ride they have at Epcot

  14. Justin Byrd

It’s ridiculous that this sort of behavior is happening at the Magic Kingdom. If you can’t behave stay at home don’t ruin the experience for the children and other guests

  15. Duke Johnson

This is what happens when Biden’s entitled snowflakes take over. I hope your all happy, YOU CHOSE HIM. How about send me a check to stay home and not work so I can spend my days fighting at Epcot. This kind of garbage would never happen if they hadn’t stolen the election from Trump. Trump 2024! Save us from these fools!

    1. JustJessee

This is an astonishing post. 100% not in the good way. I’ve never seen assumptions and dots connected with this level of Jackson Pollock-esq precision.

The video clip of the incident made my heart hurt, this post made my brain hurt, the comment section in general makes my soul go “people are the worst”.

    2. CJA

You are being ridiculous – fights were breaking out when Mar-a-Loser was in charge as well.

    3. Max

“These fools” are mostly likely Trump worshippers. But even if not, it’s pathetic behavior for ANYONE.

  16. ML

DMD..thank you. You just said what I have been thinking for a while. These writers need to at least do some research on YouTube before writing.

  17. Vickie

So many fights at Disney of late.
Not the happiest place it was. Not family friendly.

  18. Oby

Why would anyone want to go there anyway they support the VIEW and they one of the most RACIST show out there PEOPLE WAKE UP

    1. DMD

Yep….Disney has gone woke. Therefore NOT the happiest place on earth anymore…WOKE = Broke

    Classy

My friend and I were waiting for the candlelight procession at Disneyland one year – when local choirs audition to process down Main street, singing as a mass choir. Then the Disney choir performs (our friend has been soloist for years and years) while a celebrity (who stays a secret til the first night) reads the Christmas story. Normally it’s very beautiful, but that year a big fight broke out. I don’t know why – it could’ve been a gang thing; I know it’s stereotyping but I live about five miles straight down the road and my neighborhood has a huge infestation. But whyever it was, it was certainly an interesting twist on the what’s normally the highlight of Disneyland’s Christmas season.
When I was a kid (52 now with grown kids of my own) Disneyland really was the Happiest Place on Earth. Fights just did.not.happen. This was back when two hour lines were the norm for some attractions; maybe a little shoving went down in the lines but I never saw it. People were KIND to one another. What part of “guest” do people not understand? Would they behave that way at Grandma’s family holiday celebration?
Entitled, entitled, entitled. Shameful, and at EPCOT I’m sure there were kids around.

Just thankful they were all wearing their masks…. 😉

  22. Rhonda Renda

This is truly sad😔 I have been a very long time pass holder & have NEVER seen behavior like this & in response to Max, you’re an idiot for a response saying it must be Trump supporters. It’s people like you who breed hate and shame on you! People need to act like the adults they are supposed to be, NO MATTER who they voted for!!!! Everyone, grow the hell up!!!!

Family Parks such as All Disney Parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios etc. should be FIGHT FREE! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Shame on all these parks if they do not ban these people from their parks forever! This is why these fights keep on happening. These parks need to be responsible for our children/families when visiting these parks. Good families with good family values expect to have fun in a safe environment. So Shame on all these parks for allowing these type of people to go into their parks! So disappointed! Suits will come their ways for sure!!!
