While there were many things I liked in The Last Jedi, there were many things I didn’t care for. I don’t blame this all on Rian Johnson. To me, it’s bigger than one person. His movie and the outcome of some of cinemas most beloved characters was handled recklessly. Like it or not, he and Kennedy are responsible. We are stuck with her for three more years. If she’s to make a mends, and one probably has nothing to do with the other, he really can’t come back. The lack of continuity of sequel writing made it rough. Onward with new journeys. Best of luck with everyone’s new projects.

Was excited about rogue squadron. But more excited disney appears to be taking this seriously. Disney a couple of years ago would have put another director on the project and we would have ended up with a garbled mess. Dont think kathleen kennedy should be the judge of creative but im happy there is somebody doing the job. This sucks today, but think in the long run it was the right choice.

I’d only watch another Rian Johnson Star Wars movie if it was called Legend Of The Broom Boy.

My initial reaction was “thank God”. Then I realized that I really just don’t care anymore. Star Wars is dead…

“At this point, The Last Jedi is widely regarded as the worst Star Wars movie in history.”
    — um, no, it isn’t regarded that way. Please back this up with anything suggesting you’re not wrong there. You cannot. Sorry you didn’t like it, but no polls I’ve seen have it anywhere near last.

Thank you! Its the highest reviewed of the sequel trilogy and a top three movie for me and many others. No where close to as dreadful as Attack of the Clones or Rise of Skywalker.

Finally some good news in 2021. Rian Johnson damn near ruined Star Wars. Thank god for Favreau and Filoni.
