These people don’t seem to get it, the reason the prices have gone up is because Disney is already paying higher wages because of union negotiations. If they had to go up to $18 an hour, it would get even more expensive.

Additionally, this proposition was nothing more than a money grab and shouldn’t have even been thought to be able to be made retroactive like this. So all around, the judge made the right call here considering that they are not getting the tax breaks that the proposition calls out.

I think this ruling is unfair, because I want them to increase the minimum wage, so that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will become available for makeovers again and so the Royal Hall will become available for meet and greets with Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella again.

Just remember the cast members are who bring guests back. They are the ones who make Didneywprld special. They work hard to keep the parks working. Please show appreciation by giving them what they deserve. Otherwise the corporation will start loosing their supporting guests. If service starts going down because of lack of service and technology is not going to do that. The more technology replaces people the less we will support those businesses. If anything covid has taught me is that technology sucks. You can’t get anything done because tech can’t solve all problems. You need people. Robots are out the door as far as I am concerned. No thanks.

So tired of hearing people complain about companies not paying a “living wage”. If employees are not happy with thier arrangement, they need to take steps to fix it. Whether that means negotiating for higher pay/benefits or finding another job. This is a free country and there are TONS of job opportunities right now.
Easy to criticize from the outside looking in. All these people who don’t even work there is like yelling at a sports team/officiant on the tv.

If people and more money, perhaps they should invest in gaining “marketable skills” rather that doing a job you could teach a 5 year old to do while crying about how underpaid and under appreciates they are 🙂

If I actually knew that the fat execs were paying the cast members a living wage, I wouldn’t mind paying high prices. But instead we are being gouged for what?! So people who work over 12 hours a day can live out of their cars and then have to play the charade all over again?

Fact: D-land cannot survive for one minute without the cast members. If they go……
