How about keeping the annual passholder rates affordable? There are so many blackout dates on the lower tiered ones and the others cost a small fortune. For the first time in years, i will not be renewing my annual pass. I would rather pay as i go.
How about letting passholders that are staying on property use the passholder line for early entry – instead of lumping them in with everyone else? What good is a passholder only line, if it opens 30 minutes after the rest?
Love Disney world but do not like how they have raised the cost ridiculously and taken away the bands, photo pass etc, they don’t care about the pass holders it’s obvious, they only care about making money. Seems like every time they come out with new ears they raises the prices, love SeaWorld, they give pas holders free tickets, $10 bonuses, free animal feedings and their prices for food are not ridiculous like DW.
Wow! I used to be an APH, we used to have a lot of benefits! Then poof! Like the magics of the parks it disappeared! Then they say we are not good enough because we don’t spend enough money! Now we get a pretty purple light! And the don’t have water parks anymore! Universal still welcomes you in by name! Means more to me that being singled out by a light!

Why is everyone so tough on Disney don’t you realize Disney is a business and we have every right to become as filthy rich as possible. Why would you not being able to have the same perks you have always had bother you. Life is all about changes. So what if you lost emh, free dining, free transportation to your resort. We have you a purple light people how much more do you want, and you call us greedy. Sheesh!

Sadly ..It’s the new Disney …create a distraction ( purple lights ) to try to make you forget that every time you walk into a park your ability to be spontaneous is less , the cost has risen dramatically, the value with the new gouging Genie and Lightening Lane is just a expensive replacement for what already existed and on and on. As long time DVC members and annual passholders, for the first time ever we’ve decided not to renew our AP’s and we will only stay at our DVC resort to use as a base to visit other places in Florida. We are very disappointed at the level of greed that has taken over the magic.
Every time Disney tries to show off a new change and put their positive spin on it you realize how much has been taken away and how much more your experience is going to cost. 60% price increase for an annual pass, and now you don’t even know what attractions you can reserve until 7AM the morning you go, and on top of your pass price you will have to pay an extra $15PP per day for what used to be included with the fast passes? Forget the purple light and remember the base that had made you so popular and will keep you that way—until it becomes unaffordable and unenjoyable. You can keep the lightning lane, but restore the free fastpass!
