Universal’s VelociCoaster officially opened to Guests and Jurassic World fans in June 2021. This rollercoaster is like nothing anyone has experienced before and has been drawing in Guests ever since it debuted. From the second Guests step into the queue of VelociCoaster, they are transported into another world and immediately begin an intense, thrilling journey.
Universal has been advertising VelociCoaster, even before its official opening, to get Guests and Jurassic World fans hyped for the rollercoaster. And ever since it debuted in June, commercials have been airing across the states to entice fans to book a trip to Universal Orlando in the near future and experience VelociCoaster themselves.
What’s interesting, though, is that one of the Universal Orlando skyline graphics does not yet include Jurassic World VelociCoaster.

Again, this is interesting as the rollercoaster has been open since June 2021 and Universal advertises Jurassic World VelociCoaster in plenty of other ways. Hopefully, Universal Orlando adds VelociCoaster to this skyliner graphic very soon so that Guests can get excited for the ride as they enter the Park.
If you have never experienced VelociCoaster, Universal Orlando describes it as:
Speeding through the jungle, rising high above the terrain, it’s the apex predator of roller coasters: the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Now you can board your vehicle for a high-speed dash through the park’s raptor paddock. Feel the rush of the hunt as you race alongside these nimble predators, twisting and soaring above the land and water. Jurassic World VelociCoaster is Now Open at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
