If you have ever traveled to Walt Disney World Resort by plane, you likely had to enter and exit the state through Orlando International Airport.
For many, Orlando International Airport — also known as MCO — is the start of your magical vacation! Especially during the 50th anniversary, MCO is decorated for the celebration with decals and photo-ops that will have Guests itching to get onto property as fast as they can. On top of that, of course, Guests can enjoy the Disney Store located in the main terminal of the airport as well to get a fun introduction into the merchandise available.
Leaving from MCO is a different story, however. Orlando International Airport is the busiest one in the state and one of the busiest in the country. With that, and with travel becoming much more popular as the pandemic begins to lighten in terms of COVID-19 positive case counts, the airport is starting to return to its pre-pandemic, incredibly busy state.
Lines to get through security can, at times, be incredibly large. I personally have waited in the MCO security line for well over an hour over the past few months, which almost caused me to miss my flight. In order to make the flight, I ended up signing up for Clear, which is a priority line for security that comes at an added cost.
Now, Clear and MCO have announced a fast lane, that many Disney fans are calling the MCO FastPass lane and/or Lightning Lane! Orlando International Airport Tweeted:
Families & Single Riders, unite! Offering now: Reservation Lane powered by @Clear. You can reserve a time slot to go through security, just show up at that time, scan your reservation and go through an exclusive & shorter lane.

An annual Clear membership is around $179.oo, which can, of course, change over time. If you are someone who travels often, this can be very helpful for you to not only travel through security quickly but have peace of mind that no matter how long TSA is at your airport, you will be able to make your flight.
