As a former attractions host at WDW I can promise you this is real. You see the worst and best of humanity. I have been spit on, slapped, punched, shoved and called every name in the book.
These incidents do happen. I’m a former employee of both Universal and Disney. I personally have been hit, spit on, pushed, and injured twice by guests. People are under so much pressure to do everything due to the immense cost they often loose their civility. I have broken up fist fights between two mom, in front of their children, over a place to view a parade. It’s likely that the person doing the spitting was under this same pressure. I need to get on everything because it’s too expensive to miss. It could also be the fact that many cast members I’m still in contact with are reporting daily acts of violence due to those unhappy with Disney’s indoor mask mandate. Many think because Florida is advertising a “no mask” policy, people don’t understand that Disney is a private business and may do as it chooses in regards to masks. Nonetheless, violence occurs daily. They just do everything they can to keep it quiet. This is fact!!
That’s why when I go to theme parks, I put EVERYTHING away, phone calls are the exception of course as I do tend to keep in touch with my family 😊, and just flow with things and see where it takes me and where it goes
While I abhor the actions of the spitting guest, I hope the spitter wasn’t ejected based on the victim’s word only. This would set a bad precedent. Think of what this would bring if a disgruntled guest lied due to the frustration of another guest.
Mickeymouse3, I’m fairly certain that saliva in the hair is proof. Besides that, I’m fairly certain there would have been witnesses, as it would have caused a scene.

If you want a Lightning Lane, you need to pay for it (Chepak planting slow people in the regular queue to slow it down).

Thanks to that a-hole, we’ll have to wear not so magical masks all day every day again, perhaps even WHILE we’re consuming food & drink.

Thank you for that thoughtful post. Great insight. Now go put your tin foil hat on and get back to your computer to see what Q wants you to say next.

There are a lot of crazy, stupid people in the world and, unfortunately, it seems to get worse with every passing day.

Fascinating, Ms. Goodwin – but what the heck is going on with your Title Caps?
