Space 2020 finally opened today, after more than a full year of delays. Guests visiting from September 20 through to September 26 can eat both lunch and dinner at the restaurant on a first-come, first-serve basis, as reservations will be required as of September 27. With reservations also launching today for this out-of-world experience, we quickly saw how anticipated Space 220 has been.

Reservations through to November 19 are currently sold out, which is the farthest Guests can book out at this point. For those who wanted to try the location, it seems that massive crowds arrived at EPCOT this morning in an attempt to make it on the list.

On Twitter, we saw Theme Park Express (@ThemeParkExpress) brave the crowds. As we can see in the photo below, crowds to enter the Park were quite large this morning.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen from Epcot! We are here this morning braving the crowds to try and get a table at the all new #Space220 restaurant! #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyWorld #Disney

It seems that as soon as Rope Drop began, Guests funneled into EPCOT and started running but were stopped before they could reach the restaurant.

All those people who ran over didn’t get very far…#Space220 #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyWorld #Disney

Once Guests finally made it to Space 220, they were met with massive crowds of Guests also looking to get inside and blast off 220 miles above the Earth in a simulated flight experience.

Guests are now lining up in hopes to make it on the list!
