so a transgender person actually said “It’s trying to force something that isn’t natural”? Isn’t that the whole basis of their belonging?

People need to stop getting offended at every little thing.

It’s all they know how to do. That and rewriting all culture and history that’s not directly supporting their views and values. They’re the new Moral Majority.

It is legitimate gimmick casting. Trying to appeal to a demographic of 3%,when probably 70% dont share the same view and silently won’t pay to see it and 27% dont care either way.So they wonder why their profits are are so low. But they gotta appeal to that small demographic over the internet to avoid offending the trolls. Someone in charge failed economics

The theater producer got setup by the interviewer. Why else would they ask him about Mary Poppins being transgender when that’s not the story at all and wasn’t the case with his production either? He got setup for the wrath of the trans-gestapo.

Yes, he did. Plus, he was correct that the story is about the family, not MP.

Trans people are freaks. Oh, sorry I offended the .00001%. If you defend them, you’re some kinda freak too.

      I couldn’t agree more.

You should boycott Disney over this, Tom and Sue. Then I never have to run into someone as hateful as you in the parks.

If you think .00001% are all who support people of all makes and models of human beings, you are a fool. A recent study by PBS showed that 2/3 of Americans oppose anti-transgender laws. So good luck proving your made-up .00001% statistic, you hateful person. Grow up and realize that not everyone is like you, and you just have to deal with it.

That, or boycott Disney and most of society, and see how that works for you. Hatred doesn’t fly in the Disney fandom. We’ll be happier to know you’re not in the parks with the rest of us sane people.

Mary Poppins was actually a series of books of morals. Walt Disney took each moral story and together turned it into one movie as a gift for his daughters. P.L. Travers (which, by the way, is not her real name) had to give Walt her permission to make that movie. And the stories are about Travers’ family.

They are not freaks. Mary Poppins is a woman and not a transgender person. Why do the clean, wholesome things have to be drug through the mud. What if an elderly white woman played to role of Rosa Parks. That would never happen. Mrs. Parks was a black woman. A black man would not play the role of John F. Kennedy. Transgender people are just people. What if a white woman played the role of Ru Paul. That would never happen.

What a weird out of left field question to ask him. Considering the story had nothing to do with anyone changing their sex, why would they even ask.

    Sexual perversion!
A child that doesn’t like being told NO!
NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR SEXUAL PREFERENCES, or what color you’re skin is! Please pull your pants up and get a job! Try living in peace!

Why do people want to change good movies into something else. I would never take my family to a remake that shouldn’t be made! Stop ruining good family movies by Disney.
