One of the biggest surprises that Guests will be able to enjoy is the opening of Disney Enchantment. Disney Enchantment is the all-new nighttime spectacular coming to Magic Kingdom. The show will replace Happily Ever After during its 18-month reign and has been promised to leave Guests feeling just as happy and magical as they have felt after any Magic Kingdom firework show.
If fireworks are one of your favorite things at Magic Kingdom, like me, you want to enhance that aspect of your evening. I personally head to Magic Kingdom on some evenings just to catch Happily Ever After and will likely be doing the same once Disney Enchantment begins. But, if you want to elevate that firework experience, you can go with a dessert party!
Dessert parties give you delicious Disney desserts to indulge in while you have prime firework seating. By purchasing this add-on, you no longer need to stand in the shoulder-to-shoulder crowd or fight to see the show over the tall dad who stopped directly in front of you. It is a completely new and fun way to see the show and will give you memories to last a lifetime.
Now, at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom, Guests can choose from not one, not two, but three dessert parties! Disney Parks Blog explained the differences between all 3:
Sweeten your evening at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park with 50th anniversary-themed desserts prepared by our pastry chef, a variety of cheeses and beverages, with selections of beer and wine included. Then, before the show begins, Cast Members will escort you to a reserved standing viewing location in one of the plaza gardens with prime viewing of Disney Enchantment.
