Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction has only recently converted itself to its Nightmare Before Christmas aesthetic for the Halloween and Christmas season, but no one visiting Disneyland Park today has been able to see the attraction yet!

According to DL Stats (@DLStats), Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Resort has been shut down all day long.

Haunted Mansion Holiday has been temporarily interrupted. On average, an interruption takes 189 minutes. http://dlst.at/detail/18249927 #Disneyland #DLR #California #DisneyParks #MagicIsHere

As we mentioned, the attraction’s season retheme was just added to the ride on Friday. Since today is Labor Day, it is unfortunate that one of the more anticipated and popular attractions in the Park is currently closed to Guests.

If we take a look at our Disneyland app, we can see that the attraction reads as temporarily closed. If the ride begins working again today, the Disneyland app will reflect that, so be sure to stay tuned for any changes. At the moment, it is unclear as to what is wrong with the attraction. Temporary closures are typically a quick fix, but there may be more going on since the attraction did not even open this morning.

Disney describes the attraction as:

Decked Out for the Hallow-Days
Pumpkin King Jack Skellington has been busy decorating the Haunted Mansion with frightfully festive touches inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Experience some of your favorite sights, special seasonal surprises—and scare-aracters from the movie. Sally, Oogie Boogie and other Nightmare nasties will be on hand to wish you “Season’s Screamings!”’

Interestingly enough, over in Disney World, Rise of the Resistance has been down all day as well, so it seems that both parks are suffering from a lost attraction. Disneyland is also quite busy today, which means there are a lot of Guests missing out on the ride at the moment. This morning, it took us 30 minutes to just park, which is out of the norm at Disneyland.

In the case of Haunted Mansion Holiday, it just seems that two holidays on the same day was a little too much for the happy haunts to handle!
