After examining the Disneyland app, we can tell that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park attractions are a breeze today, with wait times that are magically low. (Side note: Disneyland has a great app and resource for visiting the Disneyland Resort — be sure to check it our before your next visit to Disneyland, California Adventure, Downtown Disney, or the three Disneyland Resort hotels!)
Some highly popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! and the IncrediCoaster at Disney California Adventure, as well as Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland, are seeing low wait times today, Thursday, September 2. Even Soarin’ Around the World and Snow White’s Enchanted Wish are not causing Guests to wait excessively long!
Just take a look at these screenshots from the Disneyland app on mid-morning, hours after the theme parks opened for the day:
While boarding groups have already filled up for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park, you can still join the virtual queue for WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure as of just before 11 a.m. Boarding group access will reopen again at 12 p.m. in the Disneyland app, giving Guests another opportunity to join the virtual queues for each of these popular attractions.
Halloween Time officially begins tomorrow, September 3, and runs through October 31. With costumed characters, decorations galore, delicious treats, the Halloween Screams fireworks at Disneyland, and spooky fun to be had at Oogie Boogie Bash at California Adventure, this will truly be a spooky season to remember at the Disneyland Resort.
Additionally, Magic Key Passes are, in fact, on sale again. This is the reimagined Annual Pass (AKA Annual Passport) program at the Disneyland Resort. There are now four levels of Magic Key Passes (Annual Passes), and Magic Key Holders (Annual Passholders) get a variety of perks.
Over time, as more and more Magic Key Holders return to the theme parks, and after the new paid FASTPASS system called Disney Genie+ is introduced, we will likely see attraction wait times increase. But for now, we are certainly happy to see weekday wait times so low.
As always, for the latest information on Disneyland wait times while you’re visiting the theme parks, download the Disneyland app to your mobile device.
