They didn’t mean in this particular time period. It was said that we’ll be seeing more of what happened after The Empire Strikes Back, which comes before Vader’s death. It will most likely be in the form of a flashback, showing some of Boba’s history with the Empire. Maybe we’ll finally learn why he hates stormtroopers so much in The Mandalorian.
