These parasites exist everywhere in society. It’s shocking that they were working at a place where children obviously visit. It is important to know that Disney is not going to know that these people are child predators unless they do a background check (and even then they have to have a record.) Background checks with fingerprints are not cheap. Employers expect you to pay for it and when you make it to the 90 day point of employment they may reimburse you. I can’t see Disney doing that with every employee. They may with caregivers such as baby sitting at the resorts or children programs where the child is dropped off by parents. These 2 were janitors.
And I’m sure there are more working at Disney. This is Florida anybody and anything lives down here. And this goes on every year. Peole would be surprised at what works at Disney b
When I worked there they took your finger prints and since I worked for the govt before moving to Fl, I asked what agency does the check, I was told no one machine don’t work! I was shocked. And this isn’t the first arrest made there have been others over the years.
Unfortunately, there really is nothing “shocking that they were working at a place where children obviously visit.” This is exactly what child predators do: immerse themselves in such environs for easy access to prey: teachers, coaches, camp counselors, etc.
Did you ever think that these people who work at Disney did not have a record? I love it how people are quick to slam Disney for knowingly hiring child predators when these people don’t have records. I am sure that Disney has background checks that include fingerprints.
If you ever notice that the majority of child predators do not have a record when they are discovered. That does not mean that this not the first time they have done it, it may be the first time they have been caught by the authorities.
