    “Reimagining”, that’s when they “remake” it WITHOUT remaking it, like with Mulan, Pete’s Dragon or Lilo & Stitch.

    And this project’s been around in one form or the other since they first started thinking Tim Burton’s Alice was a “live-action remake”.
    But the mentality that they could make it for D+ anyway has gotten them to dig up a lot of old crumpled memos out of the basket.

    Though any attempt to bring this project to fruition is fraught with peril (an easy disaster in the making), and certainly James Mason can’t be brought back to participate (not even in CGI!), please, puh-leez retain the genius Harper Goff original Nautilus design! All iterations since the classic version have been horrible disappointments.
